Its the poorest year for owls this year, due to lack of food, and I have ringed only a hundred of each of Barn Owls and Kestrels. So a big surprise on the Humber Bank to find 6 Barn Owl and 4 Kestrel chicks in the same nestbox ...and with uneaten prey items too!

I told my OCIA instructor that I wasn’t sure if I believed something 100%, but that I was willing to keep my mouth shut and not speak out against the church even privately when my opinion and doctrine did not align. apparently that was enough to give me the go ahead to convert..
