People value you more when you die than when you are alive. Yesterday, I brought my personal pain to the public, hoping to see humanity in humans, but I was wrong. My mom will live longer than expected, she will reap the fruits of her labour in good health.
I have realized humanism is not practiced, it only exists in Humanist Manifestoes compiled by groups who love humanism as a theory - groups founded and magazines floated for ideological differentiation and for profit.

People who've been through narcissistic abuse are often labeled as mentally ill and put on psychiatric medication they don't even need, when what they're really dealing with is complex PTSD from long-term emotional abuse. They've been gaslighted, smeared, and made to question their own reality, then cut off from the people who should support them because everyone thinks they're the unstable one. The manipulation runs so deep that some lose themselves completely, feeling hopeless to the point of suicide. And society just calls it mental illness instead of recognizing the severe trauma and abuse behind it.

Just two days ago, I called her. She didn't tell me she had been in bed for days, but I could tell from how she was sounding.
It keeps getting worse and it's draining me completely.
I remember a time when I was in school, preparing for my 200-level second semester exams. I got a call from a stranger informing me that my mom was completely down on the floor, unconscious - I nearly killed myself on the spot because I was already going through some personal issues and I received that sad news at the same time. There has been a lot, honestly.
A few weeks ago, I slid into a philanthropist's DM and briefly stated why I was there - though my situation is far more than what I told him. It took over two weeks before he viewed my messages, and only after I sent a follow-up. Eventually, I was completely turned down. I understand him quite well. Perhaps he thought I was fabricating a story that wasn't true. I told him I was ready to show him clear evidence to back up my claim, told him about my academic performance at the university - that I once had parallel As and was on a 4.86 CGPA, told him I am currently in 500-level and how I got to this level. I had the proof and was ready to show him, but he might have viewed me through the wrong lens, and it's completely understandable.
I felt brutally disposable and pathetically dejected afterward. I had to put the shame aside and bring my problem here.
Please, if you can help my mom, let me know and I will enter your DM with my proof. She's sick and tired, please.
