The narrative that many Detroiters were going to vote for Mike Rogers was wildly exaggerated. Abdul El-Sayed trounced Rogers in Detroit, 91.75% to 5.47%.

This guy continues to impress. The Republic has survived and the first light of dawn is on the horizon, Ossoff says.
OSSOFF: The American people have rebuked the depravity, corruption, and incompetence of the failed lame duck President Donald J. Trump.

“If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses” - Henry Ford Henry Ford was a pioneering American industrialist who transformed the automobile industry and modern manufacturing through the founding of Ford Motor Company. In 1908, he introduced the Model T, an affordable, dependable vehicle that made car ownership possible for millions of ordinary Americans. His greatest breakthrough came in 1913 with the introduction of the moving assembly line, which dramatically accelerated vehicle production, reduced manufacturing expenses, and revolutionized factory operations around the world. A year later, Ford introduced his famous $5 workday, significantly increasing wages while reducing employee turnover and helping workers afford the automobiles they produced. Ford’s groundbreaking methods changed far more than the automotive industry, influencing mass production, workplace efficiency, and labor practices for generations. However, his historical legacy remains complicated by his deeply controversial beliefs, particularly his promotion of antisemitism. Despite these contradictions, Ford remains one of the most influential and complex figures in American industrial history.

I sometimes hate that the last third of my life has consisted almost exclusively of sitting around looking at my phone. but then I think of how my ancestors lived, sat around looking at potatoes or something. compared to them I am winning, and winning big.

There were a few years in the late 80s when the Red Wings were genuinely one of the worst teams in the NHL, and Steve Yzerman never quit on his team.

Alex DeBrincat said the Red Wings are going to "move forward" after Dylan Larkin's exit. "I think we can rally around the adversity we've faced so far. I don't think it's necessarily been easy, but we've come together as a group and decided we're gonna stick up for each other, play for each other every day and come to the rink, work hard."

Dylan Larkin’s legacy in Detroit will be the captain that quit on his team, demanded a trade, then refused to play because he didn’t get his way fast enough. What a gutless way to go out.
