am thinking about Legacy tonight, specifically this line, I know she probably means the whole loneliness and parental abandonment thing but it’s making me imagine if there were maybe more force bonds that we didn’t see in the film/novelization where they talked more 😔

in light of ao3 exploding i’d like to remind everyone that squidgeworld.org is an alternative archive that works nearly exactly the same (just with a better tagging system 🫢) and many authors already crosspost between the two

When AO3 returns:
-Leave kudos on stories that made you smile/cry/laugh
-Comment on ones that ended months/years ago
-Share links of your favorites, and tag the author so they can see it!
-Don't forget how you felt today when you're tempted to rate someone's free piece of art💙
As a reylo who has been in the trenches since the tumblr days of 2015, ignore them guys. No good will come from engaging with them. Let's just enjoy what we love. Keep reyloing
My fellow Reylo's: there are a lot of SW grifters who 1) Don't like or ship Reylo and 2) Hate us.
Yet they try to get us to engage with them (many of them pretend to be fellow fans) so we can give them the engagement because as much as they hate us, the Reylo fandom has a lot of pull on social media and they need us for the numbers.
DON'T give them the engagement they are begging us to give them! Ignore and block them, I'm begging you all. They don't deserve our time and energy just so they can go and mock us behind our backs once they got the engagement and numbers from us.

AO3 IS RUN BY VOLUNTEERS
they do not get paid for any of this. be kind, patient, and respectful to the volunteers who work hard to keep ao3 running, fight against censorship, and protect writers, fanfics, and people’s rights/freedom to write whatever they want, however they want

Celebrity deaths like these make me believe in the Filipino saying "Matagal mamatay ang masamang damo" or "Weeds take a long time to die".
GOD, WHY CAN IT NOT BE HIM INSTEAD!!!??
My heart is breaking
We estimate that service restoration for #AO3 will take around 2 weeks but it could be up to 4 weeks. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring the site back up in a degraded state sooner. Refer to our status page for updates: otwstatus.org/
