It’s disgusting how this government responds to criticism ESPECIALLY given the fact that it is true.
Against the backdrop of criticism from dancehall veteran Beenie Man over the Government’s hurricane relief efforts, Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness on Wednesday took a swipe at the artiste.

Just check out the exchange between David Mullings & Cuthbert & you see this clearly😂. He speaks of accountability & transparency in countries. He also says show up & vote. She goes on to defend her govt then in the end she asks him if he was referring to Beenie's comment😳 – at Jamaica

Our government is schizophrenic.
In the same debate it underhandedly changed our Cuban policy and agreed Cubans should starve and live in darkness, Minister Tufton commends Cuba’s enduring contribution to Jamaica’s Healthcare System.
That's two-mouthed.

Look at you with more falsehoods. Using a social housing picture that has nothing to do with hurricane relief to make it seem you have given housing to hurricane victims. Imagine using falsehood to pushback aganst what you claim to be falsehood. Only your sycophants believe you.

Economy is worsening.
2 things of note in the last 24 hours.
1. The import bill is climbing outpacing exports 5 to 1. Deficit for the first 7 months of 2026 is US$3.5b.
2. For Q2 26/27, we collected $8.1b less than last year and spent $31.3b more. So fiscal deficit is now $39.4b.

The rangers got talking point of 84 billion dollars spent and so they created a list out of thin air, not knowing the list totalled 102.89 billion dollars (because nobody will check). I went and researched the info and as we say there is a diff between allocation and spent.

I told you all that I gave this 1PM 7 years before I started criticizing him. This man is the weakest link. He takes on some who says anything negative publicly. He has time to do that when the country seems to be running on auto pilot. He has no shame. Arrogant as hell. Kmt

I often wonder whether journalists and media houses that operate as propagandists for political parties ever consider the cost to their credibility. At what point does political loyalty become more important than journalistic integrity? You may gain favour with the people you defend, but is it really worth losing the public's trust and no longer being taken seriously?
George reacts to Beenie Man's comments on the government's handling of Hurricane Melissa relief fund.
