We're proud to announce that Ben MacWilliams has joined Terra Industries as our VP of Strategy. Ben previously led Starlink's market access for Africa at SpaceX, taking the service live in over 20 countries through direct engagement with presidents, regulators, and ministers.

Terra Industries has closed its seed round at $52M, adding $18M to scale sovereign defense systems protecting critical infrastructure across the Global South.

Nigeria's Parliament moved a motion on the future of the country's drone industry. It urges the federal government to adopt a National Drone Industrial Policy and designate dedicated defense industrial zones. The motion recognizes what we have long believed. Nigeria, with one of the largest economies in Africa, has the engineering talent, a growing ecosystem and existing military-industrial partnerships for the drone manufacturing sector to thrive. What the sector needs now is policy and capital to move from an entrepreneurial stage to a strategic national industry. We stand ready to help Nigeria build the sovereign defense industrial base needed to counter terrorism and protect critical infrastructure across Africa.

Terrorist groups across Africa are weaponizing cheap commercial drones. Introducing Kama. Kama is an autonomous interceptor drone powered by ArtemisOS, built to detect, track, and intercept drone threats before they reach their targets.

We design for the worst possible conditions because that is where our systems will be tasked to operate. Yesterday, we put that principle to the test. Our team ran an all-weather trial on two of our aerial systems, the Archer VTOL fixed-wing and the Kama FPV. Through steady rain and winds reaching 40 km/h, both aircraft held the sky. The Sahel is unforgiving; so is our testing.

Africa's security environment is changing, and so is the nature of warfare. At the African Chiefs of Defense Conference 2026 in Luanda, Angola, this week, our CEO @_KingNath joined U.S. Generals, including @USAfricaCommand Commander Gen. Dagvin Anderson, and more than 30 African Chiefs of Defense to discuss how African nations can adapt to the realities of drone warfare. His message was clear: lasting peace requires building a sovereign defense industrial base that gives African nations the ability to develop, produce, and sustain the capabilities needed to secure their future.

Bloomberg listed Terra Industries as one of the 25 African startups to watch in 2026. Our CEO, @_KingNath, sat down with @BloombergTV to discuss how drones are reshaping modern warfare and why Africa must build the industrial capacity to secure its own future. At Terra, that means working with governments across the continent to build a sovereign defense industrial base and advance our mission to strengthen regional security while protecting people, resources, and critical infrastructure from escalating threats.

We're on track to begin production at our Ghana facility in the coming weeks. Pax-2 will be the largest dedicated drone production facility in Africa, and the foundation of a sovereign defense industrial base.

Nigeria’s security threats are evolving rapidly. Insurgents and armed groups are carrying out attacks that must not only be detected before they happen but also stopped faster than traditional methods allow.

Today, we hosted 61 senior officers from the Army War College Nigeria (AWCN) at our headquarters in Abuja. They observed live demonstrations of our unmanned aerial and ground systems, engaged our engineers, and discussed the future of Nigeria’s domestic defence-industrial base.

Over the past year, we stress-tested our autonomous security systems in live environments. Archer, Iroko, Duma, and Kallon were connected through ArtemisOS to operate as one system and manage multiple assets safely. A key step toward protecting Africa’s critical infrastructure.
