"The Niger Delta is a coastal, swampy terrain and road construction is impossible".
This is the same unserious govt excuse that have stalled the Uzere-Isoko-Patani road linking East- West since 2005. They are repeating it with the coastal road.

A group of researchers from PTI did an assessment of the Ambient Air Quality of communities around the gas flare stack of Olomoro-Oleh Flow station in Isoko South Delta State and found out the gaseous pollutants were way above WHO limits.
Something must be done and quickly too.
The air we breathe shouldn’t come at the cost of our health or our livelihoods.
For many communities across the Niger Delta, gas flaring is a reality they live with every day.
From the air they breathe to the land and water they depend on, the effects of gas flaring and methane emissions continue to shape the lives of many families.
The Burning Sky tells one family’s story and brings attention to the human impact of an issue that affects communities across the region.

As Isoko people we must focus on the politics at the councillorship wards, LGA, House of Assembly, HOR, Senate, Delta state and Federal in that order.
The quality of the guys at the grassroot level is close to zero.
Do you know the councillor representing your ward?

The lies by the Commissioner aroused our consciousness to the fact that Isoko Nation is being taken for a ride.

This is really a disturbing statement by the Commissioner.
There is NO LIGHT in Isoko North & South, he also falsely claimed there are Isoko communities with 24 hours electricity. The Uzere arrangement is purely a self-help project.
Who is telling him these annoying lies?

Some of you have consistently repeated this political manipulating talk that Delta ports cannot take wide ships, this is largely a political will issue not geography.
There are 4 sea access to Delta state, Koko (deepest harbour in West Africa), Warri, Forcadoes & Burutu ports.
