Honoured to be named runner up UN Kenya Person of the Year 2026. This award belongs to everyone who believes in the power of sport to drive climate change action and transform communities. Through Play Green we are proving sport can be a force for lasting change. From over 8,000 fruit trees planted in schools to recycling almost a tonne of PET as Safari 7s, we have only just began. Thank you @UnKenya

Joy doesn't need a toast to lift it. A full table, quick wit, and good company will do the intoxicating! @Beyond_th3pitch
🏉🔥 Off the pitch, still making plays! The Blakblad boys took the action to a friend’s place for good vibes, laughs, and some content creation. 🎥😂 Different setting, same brotherhood. The rugby is just one part of the story. 🖤💚 #BlakBladRC #Brotherhood #BeyondThePitch

Open letter to #RugbyKE 1. Fans - Continue pressing, we've just begun. 2. Players - Grow a pair. 3. Clubs - Shortsighted cowards. 4. Union - Your days are numbered, you can only delay the inevitable. 5. Kenya Simbas - Continue putting in the hard work behind the scenes.

There is a book called When Breath Becomes Air. It is by a neurosurgeon who was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic lung cancer at the age of 36. You should read that book.

Mental health is not merely the absence of mental disorders. It is a state of well-being that enables us to cope with life's stresses, realize our abilities, learn and work well, and contribute to our communities. How is your mental well-being holding up? #DaktariMonday #justDM

Kenyan Rugby clubs really amuse me. You have the power to elect competent people to at the top seat of KRU but you then opt for very incompetent buffons just for small kickbacks (allegedly) and continue playing the Kenya Cup without any meaningful prize money. Akilia gani hii?

And on some days all you need is to go out and chill with the boys, have fun, eat, sing and reminsce.

When it comes to #XVs in #RugbyKE, It's not about skill or talent. It's who can capitalize on the opponents errors before burning out. Just fitness, Set-pieces and individual brilliance. It sounds bad, but that has been the state of things for a while.

The average #RugbyKE player will have about 10-11 #XVs rugby games a year, that is, since only about 6-10 teams each league play more in knockout. Out of 52 weeks, quite a low number, It does kill the sport's development. Then again, it's not easy, nor free.

Depends on what reward is sought. It's a pretty complex problem... There's no one right answer.
