Just voted in commie NoVa. Showed up, checked in, were immediately told a mail in ballot had already been submitted for my husband.
I cannot overstate how important it is to show up today. This would not have been caught if we had not gone in person. We might not make much of a difference where we live, but like hell are we going to let them take what little voice we do have.

“I may just try to get some $$…”
“…I saw that a girl sued NYU for one racist comment and got 2 million dollars…”
“But honestly maybe I’d rather get grants and paper acceptances than money…”
—MIT’s MeToo hoaxers Dr. Kristin Knouse and Izabella Pena discuss the anticipated spoils of their war against David Sabatini at MIT:
Pena hoped for a cash payout of some kind while Knouse wanted career favors she hadn’t earned.
(It’s also interesting how Knouse seemed intent on blaming Sabatini for her own stalling career and lack of productivity, despite the fact that he seemed to have bent over backward trying to offer mentorship and emotional support, no strings attached.)

Scott Galloway calls Elon Musk a "traitor to the West" and invokes the executions of the Rosenbergs after WW2.
"We lined up the Rosenbergs against a wall. This is a traitor to the West, and he should be held to the same standards as every other traitor in the West."
*Applause*
These people are absolutely unhinged.

🚨 BREAKING: Hennepin County officials have confirmed that the poll worker wearing the blood-spattered T-shirt depicting Charlie Kirk is real.
The poll worker was sent home, but told they could return if they changed their shirt.
Excuse me, HOW was this individual not fired on the spot? Why are they being given an opportunity to return to their post?
This is actually insane.

Conan is an interesting character and does present a consistent and deep moral & ethical core.
Replying to @romanhelmetguy
Instead of the honor and nobility of Aragorn, or the bitter revenge of Anakin, I suggest modeling Conan of Cimmeria. (not the movies or comics, the original books)
Conan was a pragmatist. He was a thief, a pirate, a general, and a king. He never broke an oath, and he treated people with the respect they deserved without naively trusting. He was loyal but not stupid. He remained largely indifferent and stoic to the suffering of the world around him and only succumbed to rage in battle or lust when women wanted him. He looked out for his own interests, but always somehow got entangled and reluctantly played a hero against his better judgment of self preservation. When it came down to it he always did the right thing because at his core he was good.
Conan is the kind of leader who would do the unpopular but necessary thing. He wasn't above brutality to accomplish the goal. Every boy should read Conan, he is the perfect anti-hero and a good template for developing one's masculine power.

Everyone's finally realizing that the Jedi were evil in 2026 but I figured it out in 2005 when I watched ROTS and walked out thinking Anakin was right
Anakin 'turned evil' because he:
-loved his mom
-loved his wife
-was stronger than the whole Council
-noticed the system was corrupt and broken
The Jedi knew he was the Chosen One and still wouldn't make him a Master, because he was better than them
The Jedi: 'We can't punish the Sand People, Anakin. With midichlorian counts that low, they didn't know what they were doing.'
Anakin: 'Then I'll take care of it myself.'
And the Empire? It ended the war, kept order, and ran on merit instead of a Council that took 1,000 years to do nothing
He did nothing wrong
He just did what the Council was too weak to do
Order 66 wasn't a betrayal. It was a performance review
Long live the Empire

Quick Padme rant now that the prequels are trending again.
One of the things that bothers me most about Padme and also incidentally exemplifies how she really does fit the progressive, longhoused girlfriend meme is her death.
A lot of people simplify her death into "Oh Anakin killed her."
To be clear, he did not kill her.
The movie explicitly states she was physically fine but died of a broken heart.
So this woman has 2 newborn children, but she is so heartbroken over Anakin rejecting the Republic and going to the darkside that she can't even summon the will to live to raise her own babies.
Madness. Insanity. Perfect illustration of the liberal adherence to ideology over family.

In 1991, Patrick Stewart surprised Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry with a special birthday performance aboard the USS Enterprise-D. Dressed as Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Stewart sang his way through the alphabet, delivering playful lines of praise while dancing across the iconic Star Trek: The Next Generation bridge.
Originally filmed as a private tribute during the show’s fifth season, the footage wasn’t intended for public viewing. Years later, it resurfaced as a bonus feature on the Season 5 DVD, giving fans a rare look at Stewart’s playful personality and the cast’s appreciation for the man who created Star Trek.

American High School English Teacher reads real responses from her student’s assignment after reading The Great Gatsby
We have a serious education issue in America and if we don’t address it, we have a horrible future ahead of us
These kind of responses are to be expected because 12th grade reading results in 2024 in America showed that reading levels right now the lowest they’ve ever been since the assessment began in 1992
