"You must fight evil when it happens." Oliver Stone. Beloved @Coles lawyers fought hard but the ACCC got the victory. To mislead is a crime, and yet the people at @Coles with evil intent went ahead anyway. If you work at @coles you have an evil master. You're paid to mislead.

The consumer watchdog is taking on Coles in the federal court
The consumer watchdog is taking on Coles in the federal court in what's being labelled the case of the century. The supermarket giant is accused of misleading shoppers with fake discounts, claims it denies.

2/... The Manager asked me, "Want me to call Police." My response was, "Yes." Allegations and arrests were made. I attended Armadale Magistrates Court and was acquitted. I made a claim against Beloved @Coles and was advised Beloved @Coles would act exactly the same way next time!

Beloved @Coles 1. How does cheese go from $7.50 to $10 overnight? 2. The reply from @Coles "it costs more to have a better experience." 3. It's illegal to mislead consumers. 4. @Coles misleads WA Police Force. 5. Arrests resulted in acquittal. 6. @Coles will do the same again.

Hi Scott, thanks for getting in touch. We apologise for the inconvenience and poor experience you had with the price increase. To investigate this case further, could you please provide us with the exact product details in a private message?

Just to clarify: price gouging is not illegal. @acccgovau investigation found beloved @Coles not guilty of gouging because gouging is not illegal. @acccgovau asked the wrong question, simply: how? We ask the question "How do you sleep?" @jessicatancred @Coles are unethical.

... in order to make a real difference to their everyday grocery bills. We understand that great value for money is very important to people these days and this is why we are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to reduce the cost of shopping at Coles. (2/4)

Unfortunately though the price of some products in our stores will inevitably rise. In recent years we've significantly intensified our in-store promotions and have implemented our 'Prices are Down' campaign, which is designed to reduce the everyday prices of the products.. (3/4)

🔥🔥Warning 🔥🔥 Coles supermarkets previously confirmed that they are selling meat from cattle dosed up with toxic Boaver, which interferes with the cattle’s natural digestive system. I’d suggest all Australians give meat from Coles a big miss, and support your local independent butcher. colesgroup.com.au/news/2023/…

You should try shopping at their Kalgoorlie store. No customer service whatsoever and no manned checkouts open even though the self serves were full. Just a couple of people patrolling the self serves. Absolutely ripping off the consumer.

theconversation.com/why-a-po… Australian supermarket giants Woolworths and Coles now face the prospect of a combined bill exceeding A$1 billion in relation to the alleged underpayment of close to 30,000 staff over several years. @Coles Not enough screwing over the public. #Shame

Unfortunately, as this is the last point of processing before the bread is baked, we're unable to identify if a large air bubble has formed. We're working closely with the supplier to improve processes and to help minimise this issue.

Hi Jeremy, thanks for getting in touch. Large holes, such as the one you encountered, shouldn't occur, however due to the process associated with large scale bread production, at times the air produced from the yeasts while proving, can combine to form a large air bubble. 1/3
