A quick global market update
1. China’s stock market enters a bear market
China’s CSI 300 index has fallen around 20% from its June peak. Weak earnings, falling tech stocks, slowing consumer demand and fading hopes of major government stimulus are putting pressure on the market.
2. Gold and silver fall as oil and yields rise
