Be pretty, be attractive, be confident in who you are. Don't do things to please people who hate you. The inability for them to make you feel like an underclass is their greatest fear.

Research shows that men commit majority of sexual violence against women and children. Yet the bathroom debate often singles out trans women as threats. If women's safety is the concern, follow the evidence, not prejudice. We should target harmful behaviour, not gender identity.

The other day, a woman was filmed being harassed by other women inside a ladies’ washroom. Let that sink in.
The washroom had the right sign on the door. Everyone inside was a woman. And yet, someone was still unsafe.
So perhaps we should stop pretending that separating toilets by sex automatically guarantees safety. Harassment is a behaviour problem, not something a sign on a door can magically prevent.
