If you wanna watch a Film this Christmas let it be The Holdovers.
There is literally nothing like this, the screenplay feels like a warm hug on a cold night, filled with 70s nostalgia, and layered characters and their arc, who will find grace in loniliness and companionship. I simply can't recommend this enough. One of the best of the decade.

"Nennga nallavara illa kettavara?"
Kamal Hassan's performance is surely the highlight of the movie and is by far one of the best acts from Indian cinema. Delivering nuances and rage of youth, adulthood and old age with so ease ain't everyone's cup of tea.
