JYP Entertainment has trademarked OBLU & OFTHEBLUE for multiple classes in the United States, as well as Korea. This further proves that it’s #JYPNGG’s group name since OURBIRTHDAY/OBD has not been trademarked in the US & other JYP projects don’t usually get trademarked this way!

there’s l rumors about the name being related to INNIT bg, which has now been debunked since INNIT does not trademark group names in the US, also it’s unlikely that it’s a random JYP project like FANS cause there’s YT/TikTok accs made and 41 classes for music groups trademarked~
