We hit 1M subscribers on Youtube. It was such a long journey with ups and downs. I want to thank my 15-year-old self for never doubting myself, for always believing in myself, and for getting what I dreamed. We did it, girl. WE DID IT. Wait for the 1M subs video.

I’ve been testing hiring people for thumbnails and other creative work because I’m trying to build out my team. Everyone says, Don’t use AI. Hire real humans. Then you hire real humans… and they use AI anyway šŸ’€ And somehow the work they deliver is WORSE than what I would’ve gotten if I’d just prompted the AI myself. At this point I’m starting to think maybe I don’t even need a bigger team. If humans aren’t producing better work than AI, then of course they’re going to get replaced. Like what the fuck are we doing here?

Schopenhauer was so right: life swings like a pendulum between pain and boredom We suffer when we want something, then feel empty once we get it

I want to quit using Spotify I'm so sick of the Spotify algorithm repeating the same 4-5 songs over and over again. Are there any good open-source alternatives? šŸ¤”

Claude designed me a YouTube thumbnail in a few minutes that I'd actually use. Thumbnails decide if a video does well and have always been my biggest bottleneck, they take hours. I hired someone just for this. Gave it the video context and past examples, and in few minutes it made this. Pretty wild Testing it against my original now.

Your phone is making your "ADHD" worse #adhd Even WITH diagnosed ADHD, the days I overconsume short-form, my hyperactivity and impulsivity go through the roof. Cut the phone time first - you'll rule out half your "symptoms."

The reason you think you have ADHD: Social media feeds you relatable content and your brain cherry-picks what fits. It's called confirmation bias. That's why you should never self-diagnose yourself.

ADHD is the opposite of being Japanese. In Japan, ADHD carries a weight it doesn't in the West. It's everything Japanese social structure isn't built for. That's why I fought my own diagnosis.

As I build my own 2nd brain 🧠 on Obsidian using @karpathy ā€˜s wiki idea, it suddenly dawned on me - one day when we r gone, our kids could inherit an interactive map to your mind, passion, obsessions, work, fascinations… It’s kind of beautiful way to think abt your 2nd 🧠.

Why "Just Do It" is the WORST advice for your brain Telling yourself to just do it sounds simple. But your brain doesn't work that way. Here's what behavioral activation research actually says about getting started when you're stuck. #behavioralactivation #motivation #mentalhealth #psychology #adhd #productivity

The 15-minute trick that gets your brain unstuck You don't need hours of willpower. A 15-minute micro session is enough to break through the wall your brain puts up. This is one of the simplest tools from behavioral activation therapy. #behavioralactivation #productivity #microhabits #mentalhealth #adhd #motivation

The Dopamine Gap is why you can't start anything There's a gap between how you THINK a task will feel and how it actually feels once you start. That gap is called the dopamine gap, and understanding it changes everything about how you approach motivation. #dopamine #behavioralactivation #motivation #mentalhealth #adhd #psychology

Claude code is genuinely insane. It's genuinely life changing but at the same time every time I use it, it scares me about the future and the sheer level of uncertainty waiting for us.

How to stop needing constant stimulation (Dopamine Stepwise Downshifting) Your brain adapts to high-stimulation activities, making everything else feel boring. Dopamine stepwise downshifting is a way to gradually recalibrate so lower-stimulation tasks feel doable again. #dopamine #dopaminedetox #behavioralactivation #mentalhealth #adhd #productivity

once i'm in doom-scrolling mode, i literally cannot switch to work unless there's some urgent reason forcing me to what actually works: gradual context switching doom-scrolling -> reading a book -> work going straight from scrolling to working is too hard on my executive function. the intermediate step makes the transition so much easier #ADHD #executivefunction
