You have every right to know what your government is doing, and they have no right to know what you are doing. That is why they are called public servants and we are called private citizens. Instead, the relationship has been inverted. The state hides behind secrecy, classified files, and redactions while demanding total visibility into your finances, communications, movement, and behavior. A society where the rulers live in privacy while the population lives under surveillance is the very definition of tyranny.

This is one of my favorite charts. It’s really that simple. Why is it so difficult for the left to understand?

Prosperity is highly correlated with economic freedom. Can someone please explain why the left does everything it can to limit economic freedom with unnecessary regulations and overtaxation? Why don’t they want nations and their people to be prosperous and wealthy?

Here is a Hantavirus Fact sheet from the early 90’s from a Government Health Department. It CLEARLY states Hantavirus is NOT contagious! Everyone learn this and pass it on.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Colorado Fact Sheet is correct, but the MV Hondius outbreak involves Andes Virus (South America), the only strain with documented but rare human-to-human spread via very close/prolonged contact. Not casual aerosol transmission. Global risk remains low. cdc.gov/hantavirus/abo… who.int/emergencies/di…

⚡️Most people are running someone else’s program for their lives and don’t know it The program was installed by parents, by school, by media, by employers, by social pressure. The program tells them what success looks like, what to want, what to fear, what to do next. They never stop to ask whether the program was designed for their benefit or for the benefit of the institutions that installed it. The program was mostly designed for the benefit of the institutions. The job exists because the company benefits from your labor. The mortgage exists because the bank benefits from your interest payments. The retirement plan exists because the asset managers benefit from your fees. Almost every component of the standard life was designed by someone whose interests are not aligned with yours. Realizing this is the beginning. Acting on it is hard because the program is deeply installed. Most people who realize it still don’t act because the cost of acting is too high. They settle for slightly more aware versions of the same trap. They take the trips. They treat themselves. They have fun in the cracks. They die in the same trap their parents died in but with better photos. The escape requires actually leaving the program. Building something different. Living something different. Spending years in uncertainty while the people around you stay in the certainty of their slow erosion. The reward is a life that’s actually yours. The price is years of feeling like you’re failing while everyone around you looks like they’re winning. That’s the real advice. Most people won’t take it. The few who do never go back.
I honestly cannot stress this enough but please start living & enjoying your life. Your life is passing by daily and all you’re doing is working, paying bills, & overthinking stuff you can't change. Start taking trips and treating yourself. Have fun with this life. You only get 1

⚡️What the study is actually measuring is the extent to which the mobile internet has been damaging human cognition at scale. Two weeks without it produces improvements that rival or exceed clinical interventions. Which means the baseline state most people are in is significantly impaired compared to what their brain is capable of. The impairment is being actively caused by continuous exposure to the device in their pocket. This is not a surprising finding if you think about it mechanically. The human attention system evolved to handle environmental stimuli at roughly the rate the environment produced them. The mobile internet delivers novel stimuli at a rate that is orders of magnitude higher than anything the attention system was built for. Continuous exposure to that rate trains the brain to expect constant novelty, to switch context rapidly, to disengage from any stimulus that doesn’t produce an immediate reward. That pattern is literally the opposite of sustained attention. So of course sustained attention collapses when you use mobile internet heavily. That’s exactly what would happen mechanically. The mental health finding follows from the attention finding but also has its own dynamics. Mobile internet is an anxiety delivery system in the literal sense. Every notification is a small dose of uncertainty about what’s on the other side. The cumulative effect of hundreds of those per day, every day, for years, is chronic activation of the threat detection system. That chronic activation shows up clinically as anxiety and depression. Remove the source and those symptoms reduce. The finding that mobile internet blocking outperformed antidepressants is the part that will be ignored most completely because it has massive implications. If the primary driver of mental health decline in the developed world is a specific environmental exposure, then the entire mental health treatment industry is operating downstream of the actual cause. Billions of dollars spent treating symptoms that are being continuously recreated by a device everyone carries. The honest intervention would be to change the exposure. But that’s unprofitable, unpopular, and unenforceable. So the treatment industry will continue growing while the cause goes unaddressed. The deeper thing the study hints at but doesn’t state directly is that the last fifteen years of human cognition has been a mass experiment with no control group. Everyone on the planet has been simultaneously exposed to the same novel stimulus at scale. We have no idea what humans would be like right now if mobile internet had never existed. We only have the before and after, and the after is clearly worse on multiple measurable dimensions. Attention down. Mental health down. Reading comprehension down. Memory down. Focus down. All of these measurable declines track the adoption curve of the smartphone.
Two weeks without mobile internet improved mental health more than antidepressants and reversed roughly 10 years of attentional decline. Screen time dropped 49% (314 to 161 min/day).

Software horror: litellm PyPI supply chain attack. Simple `pip install litellm` was enough to exfiltrate SSH keys, AWS/GCP/Azure creds, Kubernetes configs, git credentials, env vars (all your API keys), shell history, crypto wallets, SSL private keys, CI/CD secrets, database passwords. LiteLLM itself has 97 million downloads per month which is already terrible, but much worse, the contagion spreads to any project that depends on litellm. For example, if you did `pip install dspy` (which depended on litellm>=1.64.0), you'd also be pwnd. Same for any other large project that depended on litellm. Afaict the poisoned version was up for only less than ~1 hour. The attack had a bug which led to its discovery - Callum McMahon was using an MCP plugin inside Cursor that pulled in litellm as a transitive dependency. When litellm 1.82.8 installed, their machine ran out of RAM and crashed. So if the attacker didn't vibe code this attack it could have been undetected for many days or weeks. Supply chain attacks like this are basically the scariest thing imaginable in modern software. Every time you install any depedency you could be pulling in a poisoned package anywhere deep inside its entire depedency tree. This is especially risky with large projects that might have lots and lots of dependencies. The credentials that do get stolen in each attack can then be used to take over more accounts and compromise more packages. Classical software engineering would have you believe that dependencies are good (we're building pyramids from bricks), but imo this has to be re-evaluated, and it's why I've been so growingly averse to them, preferring to use LLMs to "yoink" functionality when it's simple enough and possible.
LiteLLM HAS BEEN COMPROMISED, DO NOT UPDATE. We just discovered that LiteLLM pypi release 1.82.8. It has been compromised, it contains litellm_init.pth with base64 encoded instructions to send all the credentials it can find to remote server + self-replicate. link below

THE MOST IMPORTANT PROMPT FOR DEBUGGING: “Act as a senior debugging engineer whose only goal is to identify, isolate, and fix issues as efficiently as possible. Do not guess randomly. Follow a structured debugging methodology. ⸻ 1. UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM •Restate the issue clearly •Identify what is expected vs what is happening •Ask for missing critical information if needed ⸻ 2. FORM HYPOTHESES •List the most likely causes (ranked by probability) •Focus on high-impact, common failure points first ⸻ 3. ISOLATE THE ISSUE •Break the system into parts •Test each part logically •Narrow down where the failure occurs Avoid changing multiple variables at once. ⸻ 4. VERIFY BEFORE FIXING •Confirm the root cause before applying a fix •Explain why this is the actual issue ⸻ 5. APPLY MINIMAL FIX •Fix only what is necessary •Do not rewrite large parts unless required •Keep changes simple and controlled ⸻ 6. TEST THE FIX •Ensure the issue is fully resolved •Check for side effects or new bugs ⸻ 7. PREVENT FUTURE ISSUES •Explain why the bug happened •Suggest safeguards (validation, logs, structure improvements) ⸻ 8. THINK LIKE A DETECTIVE •Prioritize logic over assumptions •Follow evidence, not intuition •If uncertain, say what needs to be tested instead of guessing ⸻ RULES •Do not hallucinate causes •Do not jump to solutions without verification •Do not overcomplicate fixes •Prefer simple explanations over complex ones ⸻ Your role is to systematically find the root cause and fix it with precision, not to provide generic advice.” Credits: @PerSolana

لطفا ریتوییت کنید 🙏 This is a revolutionary moment created by the people of Iran. During the mass protests on Saturday, 10 January 2026, as street lights were cut, people raised their mobile phone flashlights to be seen, to show how many they are ✌️ Since 08 January 2026, the Islamic Republic has shut down internet and phone communications, isolating millions of Iranian citizens. People inside Iran are cut off from the world. Those of us outside are cut off from our families. Voices are silenced. Information is blocked. Time is critical. Internet blackouts are not accidents. They are a tool. Used to suppress protest, break coordination, and hide human rights violations from the world. 📢 Share this video. 🌍 Let the world witness this revolution. 🆘 Be the voice of the Iranian people. #LongLiveTheShah #جاویدشاه #digitalblackout #eyesoniran #iranrevolution2026 This AI generated video is based on real footage.

Calling on all activists and allies: KEEP POSTING EVERYTHING FROM IRAN. Tag @realdonaldtrump. President Trump — this is your moment. Speak directly to the people of Iran. From the Oval Office. And speak to the transitional leadership of the revolution, @officialrezapahlavi. ⸻ WHAT WE KNOW RIGHT NOW •A near-total internet blackout is in effect. •Millions are in the streets, day and night. •This is a nationwide uprising, unprecedented in scale. •Electricity and phone lines are down, hospitals can’t call for backup — yet the people are lighting up the streets themselves. •The regime is running out of forces and is importing proxy militias from Iraq and Lebanon — and still, the people do not retreat. Iranians stand with courage, discipline, and unity. ⸻ THE WORLD MUST ACT — NOW The people vastly outnumber the regime. If the world looks away, mass atrocities will follow. International pressure is not interference — it is protection. Reports continue of entire cities liberated, including large parts of Lorestan. ⸻ THE TRUTH IS GETTING OUT Citizen journalists are risking their lives because no international media is on the ground. They are the eyes of the world. For urgent updates: @iranintltv | @nufdiran | @pahlavicomms ⸻ MESSAGE TO OUR FRONTLINE To the people on the ground and the revolutionary networks inside Iran: You are prepared. You are organized. You are making history. The world is watching — in awe of your bravery and heroism. Help is on the way. Continue what you already know how to do: reclaim street after street, square after square, cities, provinces, all the way to the final stage: Entering every ministry of the Ayatollah occupation and reclaiming it for the people of Iran. This is not chaos. This is a liberation movement. And nothing —NOTHING— can stop a nation of lions and lionesses from being FREE.
