The ecological case for remigration...
There are a lot of supposed ‘right wing’ arguments for remigration. Most you’ll have heard a dozen or more times, more available housing meaning cheaper prices, fewer users of NHS services so a sped up practice of helping patients, more school places and funding per head of child so better facilities, fewer drones so better paid low skill jobs etc etc etc
But there’s a huge argument that isn’t often spoken of. And it’s basically a cudgel to find out who are actual and who are faux environmentalists.
- Increased carbon footprint living in western society
The UK has significantly reduced its per capita CO₂ emissions over the years, which is now about 4.5 metric tons per person. This decrease is due to shifts towards renewable energies, improvements in energy efficiency appliances and deindustrialization. Although for some reason not nuclear even though we’re an island with basically zero natural disasters…
However, when considering consumption-based emissions, which account for imports and exports, the UK's carbon footprint is actually higher, with estimates indicating around 10 tonnes CO2 per person annually. This reflects the impact of the UK's consumption of goods produced elsewhere, which are not included in territorial emissions, a sneaky little grift avoiding the bean counters.
When you look at the per capita CO₂ Emissions in countries where migration to the UK is high though. Take for example Somalia, they are extremely low, with figures around 0.1 tonnes per capita annually. This is because the country has minimal industrial activity, low energy consumption, and a reliance on traditional, often non-fossil fuel sources like biomass for energy. Somalia's emissions primarily come from agriculture, with a minimal contribution from industrial processes or transportation.
It doesn’t take an ecologist or environmental scientist to see where this is going. Every Somalian you import into the UK drastically increases their carbon footprint. No one who’s interested in the deindustrialisation of the UK for the purposes of environmental sustainability can make the argument that bringing more people into a higher carbon environment is going to reduce our carbon output. Especially when vast swathes of our output is energy, is necessary to keep us warm on a damp cold island.
- Fewer required housing developments
Another important ecological factor is that back in 1990, the United Kingdom had approximately 22.2 million dwellings. This figure represents the total housing stock across the UK during that year, encompassing various types of homes including houses, flats, and bungalows, whether owned, rented, or vacant. The UK at this time had approximately 57 million people. A more than reasonable figure for the size of land occupied.
As of 2024, the UK had approximately 29.9 million dwellings. For 69.14 million people. The population explosion in just 30 years however hasn’t come from births.
Considering the births vs deaths ratios the NET figure of births is 436,700 total from 1990 to 2024. We needed only around 1m homes in that time to stick to the ratio of homes to buyers back when the average price was £57k
This quickly shows that there wasn’t any real demand for an extra 7.7 million homes to house a massively expanded population.
If we then compare this to the previous idea that many who come to the UK are coming from low carbon footprint areas you’re looking at potentially 12.14 million people who could have doubled, tripled or even more substantially increased their carbon footprint massively offsetting any of the things individuals and businesses have tried to do to reduce carbon emissions over the last few decades.
- Less traffic meaning efficient travel and smaller carbon footprints
Mass migration has directly led to more vehicles on UK roads. With a growing population, we see a surge in traffic, especially in urban centers like London. This growth in population due to migration accounts for over 15% of the forecast traffic increase in England. The UK's road infrastructure, already congested, struggles to keep up with this influx. The result? More traffic jams, longer commutes, and increased road maintenance issues. More cars mean higher emissions. While not exclusively due to migration, the environmental impact is clear with worsening air quality in urban areas.
Fewer people however means fewer journeys of both the necessary and unnecessary kinds. All of us who drive remember how much more efficient we were during the COVID lockdowns where the roads were empty. Although not to the same level, mass remigration could hugely ease congestion in much the same way.
Fewer vehicles on the road means fewer accidents, fewer road repairs, smaller levels of carbon output and cleaner air. Not just for the environment but also for ourselves.
- Revival of low impact farming would be possible with fewer mouths to feed
Fewer people means less urban expansion into rural areas. This frees up more land for things like regenerative agriculture and rewinding. Rather than putting that burden onto farmers themselves in their own fields they use to grow our food, we can instead use brownfield sites that would otherwise be used to build new homes, to instead, renew and rewild local areas and bring back wildlife.
Fewer people would also reduce demand for high yield industrial farming cutting waste and again reducing the carbon from intensive agriculture and the damage it does to the living soil. It would also reduce the requirement of overall emissions from food imports and the transport and housing of said materials.
With fewer people to feed there may also be more political will to prioritise local and organic food production over imports. With projects around the world showing that with the right equipments and conditions, pretty much all foods can be grown anywhere on the planet.
- Reduction of plastic and waste products from consumption
Overall consumption would hugely reduce under the conditions of remigration too. Fewer people buying packaged goods and fast food means less plastic in food, retail and household items. Single use plastics would likely stop being financially competitive with reusable items. Think back to your grandparents days, maybe even great grandparents for some of you. Reusable glass milk bottles that were returned on consumption. Think how many single use plastic milk bottles over one individuals lifetime could be saved from that one change.
Another huge reduction would be public waste generation. Urban areas with high population densities generate huge amounts of plastic waste. A shrinking population could mean less litter, fewer landfills, lower recycling burdens and less pressure on recycling infrastructure in general.
If the population declined by say 10-15% which is around about the number of migrants to population in the last 15 years. We could save 780,000 tonnes of single waste plastic alone.
- All things considered
The argument to allow migration be it illegal, legal economic or even students coming to study. Each one presents a big problem to our overall environment and very likely increases their own and our collective carbon footprint. So if you wanted the tl;dr on this. Mass migrations bad for the environment.
Since everyone gets to chime in on what they think it is to “be British” here’s one. Being British is not claiming to be owed money for bad things that happened to other people in the past in acts committed by other people in the past.

The incoming foreign wave of low-skilled mass settlement and citizenship must be reversed.
Restore Britain is today making these commitments to the British people.
- We will abolish Indefinite Leave to Remain entirely. No further ILR grants will be permitted.
- Revoke all existing ILR grants. A Restore Britain Parliament will legislate to terminate existing ILR permissions and, where appropriate, replace them with a system of time-limited visas, subject to the strict criteria contained in our immigration Red List. Those who don't meet that standard will leave. As previously stated, immigration from the third world into Britain will end.
- Entirely end the routine pathway from temporary visas to citizenship - living or working in Britain will no longer provide a route to naturalisation.
- Cancel naturalisation grants made from today onwards. We will introduce retrospective legislation to revoke every citizenship granted, as of today, under the existing immigration system. Put simply - the current naturalisation system has been subject to such widespread abuse and fraud, we no longer recognise it as legitimate. Following this, those individuals will again be subject to our Red List.
- Going further than that, Restore Britain will create a dedicated body to review naturalisation grants going back decades, audit original applications, investigate fraudulent citizenship awards, assess the contribution made to our country and pursue deprivation wherever appropriate grounds are established.
- There will be one exception to the proposed citizenship cancellation policy - citizenship obtained through marriage to a British citizen who was born in Britain with at least one parent also born in our country.
- And crucially - we will enforce immigration departures. Where individuals have no lawful right to remain under the replacement system, departure and removal requirements will be enforced.
Ending ILR is not enough. It will be too late - the consequence of ILR is citizenship, permanent citizenship. The staggering betrayal of the last Conservative Government must be undone.
The sheer scale of numbers is impossible to fully comprehend.
They will stay, they will claim benefits, they will live in social housing.
They will be naturalised.
They will get a passport.
They will become ‘British’.
Most importantly - they will vote.
It will cost us hundreds of billions. It will corrode our democracy. It will be the final end for our high-trust society.
It cannot be allowed to happen.
We will abolish ILR, end permanent settlement by default, and reverse the incoming wave of mass naturalisations.
A Restore Britain Government will undo the damage.
Not tolerate it, or manage it, or control it.
Undo it.
When freaks are moaning about “Muh slavery” this is what the vast majority of our ancestors were doing.
Working-class Britons had it harder than slaves on the average American plantation.
Children as young as nine were forced to work twelve or thirteen hours a day, sometimes longer, with barely enough time to eat. Those who slowed through exhaustion were beaten with straps or struck with machinery rollers. Many were physically broken before reaching adulthood, while mill owners simply threw them aside and replaced them with another desperate child.
A plantation owner had paid money for his labourers and therefore had a financial interest in keeping them fed, housed, alive and capable of working. A British industrialist did not own his workers and had invested nothing in them. He could work a man, woman or child into sickness, injury or an early grave, dismiss them and replace them the following morning.
Plantation labour was often carried out in the open air and natural light. British workers spent twelve-hour shifts trapped underground or inside mills, foundries and potteries, breathing coal smoke, cotton dust, silica, soot, metal particles and poisonous fumes. Miners crawled through cramped tunnels beneath the earth; potters slowly destroyed their lungs with clay and lead dust; steelworkers faced furnaces hot enough to scorch the flesh; dockers broke their bodies carrying crushing loads in all weather.
There was no fresh air, no safety equipment, no compensation and often no escape from the machinery until the shift ended. Men were burned, crushed, blinded, poisoned or buried alive. Children lost fingers and limbs in exposed gears and belts. Those who survived were commonly worn out before middle age.
The plantation slave was valuable property. The British labourer was disposable.
Industrial Britain was built on the backs of working-class men, women and children whose lives were consumed for profit and then largely forgotten.

Poland is the placebo that shows that mass migration and demographic change causes the problems western political elites and leftists want to claim it doesn’t.
Remigration now.
My read of events in Poland is that they will explode in the face of Brussels.
Putting it together, Tusk made his move on All Saints weekend, which is a big thing in Poland. It is a official public holiday, triggering one of the biggest travel weekends of the year in Poland. Families travel across the country to congregate at ancestral burial plots.
Tusk had reasonable expectation, therefore, that Warsaw would be quieter than normal, with fewer people available to respond, while the one person who could put a legal block on him - the president - was out of the country. Meanwhile, the police were notified a week in advance and instructed to tool up and put their riot squads on notice.
This does have all the hallmarks of a planned coup, but it has backfired spectacularly, largely due to the swift response of Karol Nawrocki and the rapid assembly of a large crowd - probably larger than expected.
This means that Święczkowski will now almost certainly keep his position as president of the court, and double down on telling the EU to foxtrot oscar.
This is an unsustainable position for Brussels which is already under serious pressure to keep its migration programme from collapsing. Come Monday, the political ramifications may be felt all over Europe,

No thanks Matt..
Replying to @Con_Tomlinson
See this face? This is the face you’ll be pulling when you realise you just helped hand the country to the far-left for another 5 years.
You’ll be fine, of course. You’ve got your YouTube clicks.
You’ll encourage people to scream into their phones for another five years, maybe longer.
Rupert will be fine, too. The Tories will probably put him in the Lords.
But the country, the British people, will be screwed.
And one day you might reflect on how you were too dumb to do what the Left has always done.
Put the wider mission ahead of personality disputes.
It’s not about Nigel. It’s not about Rupert. It’s about the country. And a lot of so-called patriots right now are handing it to the Left because they can’t see the bigger picture.
p.s. And when you have the guts to leave your spare room and stand for election in a seat with a 30% Muslim vote let me know (we also won that seat in Denton).

In 2024, I was invited to speak at Reform UK’s party conference.
When asked what I wanted to see from the party, I recommended that they embrace a policy of remigration and reject the concept of “British values” in favour of authentic British identity.
Two years on, they have done neither - indeed, they have been actively hostile to both.
That’s why we launched Restore Britain. Now Reform can’t win elections, and they have no one to blame but themselves.
Their strategy should be to make us irrelevant by outflanking us on policy. Instead, they bleat about “splitting the vote” while offering an increasingly radical electorate more of the same discredited status quo.
Their decline is probably terminal. And they richly deserve it.
The British people deserve a REAL alternative, not the establishment that has ruined our country masquerading as one.
And now they have it. Restore Britain.
Strong Reform wins overnight!
In Worksop East (Bassetlaw), we went from nothing to 46%, with Labour sinking from 74% to 37%.
We also smashed the Lib Dems in a ward in Halton, Cheshire, which they won in May this year.
The Westminster bubble is as out of touch as ever.
Sadly, we did lose one ward in Dudley. We won 872 votes, Labour won 874 - and Restore took 159.
The next election will be existential for Britain. I’ll deport everyone who is here illegally. Vote Restore, get Labour.
If your party is crying about seats they couldn’t win without the votes of people they hate… then you’ve got a better option..
And they just published another very good policy paper;
assets.nationbuilder.com/res…
Literally no one cares about Matt GPT’s at length essay that can be summed up as;
“Vote for us, c’mon. Don’t be a dick head”
Reform are dying
They kick out nationalists
They take on Tories
They take on TV personalities
Their policies are half measures
A note to Restore voters:
I know ‘Vote Restore, Get Labour’ irritates some people so let me explain why I say it.
Because it’s the truth.
Voting Restore will hand this country to the Left.
We’ve seen it in Dover, Blackpool, Dudley, and elsewhere.
I get why Restore voters are livid.
I am angrier than you with the state of the country, I suspect.
But the reality is that the Right will lose the next general election if it does not consolidate.
Roughly 60% of left-wing voters tell pollsters they are voting tactically.
That’s Green or Lib Dems voting Labour not because they agree with Labour or Burnham.
But because they want to stop the Right and they are putting the wider mission, not their party, first.
But only 30% of right-wing voters are doing the same.
The Left is much more disciplined and ruthless than the Right.
The reason Burnham and Labour are now back on 30-32% is because they are winning back left wing voters who are willing to do whatever it takes to control the country.
Greens holding their nose to vote Labour.
Lib Dems holding their nose to do the same.
2024 Labour voters coming home to Labour to stop the Right.
And they are on course to do it.
All MRP polls suggest the Left is on course to win the next general election, whether by winning a majority or in coalition.
That means more migration.
More refugees.
More taxes.
More two-tier policies.
More open borders.
More soft-on-Islamism.
More EU and free movement.
And a system of PR to ensure the Left continue to dominate Britain going forward.
They will give children, migrants and refugees the vote.
They will turn a blind eye to family voting and mass postal fraud.
That is what is about to happen.
They will control Britain until at least the 2030s, maybe longer.
Because they are boxing clever.
Many pro-Restore voices who claim to represent you are fully invested in dividing the Right.
Their YouTube channels, their “independent media”, their entire existence depends on amplifying the splits, the drama, the chaos on the Right.
Those people will be fine under this long period of left-wing rule.
They will continue to scream into their phones and encourage you to do the same.
Rupert Lowe will probably end up in the Lords, put there by the same Tories who just put him on a committee and who he himself says “he talks to all the time”.
But the British people, the country, will lose out.
It is the people who will be screwed.
And just look at the total hypocrisy.
Restore criticise Reform for taking one or two ex-conservatives.
While Restore is literally standing ex-Tories at the next general election!! You do know this?
I just think you are being led up the garden path by a lot of people who do not understand how first-past-the-post systems work and are invested in sowing chaos.
The only way the Left is stopped is by winning a broad coalition.
That coalition is there.
At recent local elections upwards of 50% have been voting for right-wing parties.
But Labour and Green candidates have been winning on just 25-30% of the vote.
That is your next general election.
It’s not about Nigel, or Rupert, or even Reform or Restore.
It is about the country.
It is about the British people.
Look at France right now.
One right-wing party is preparing to win the presidency and power.
Another is flailing around on 3%.
Do you want power or 3%?
To leave the ECHR or 3%?
To end mass migration or 3%?
To ban Muslim Brotherhood or 3%?
To stop the boats or 3%?
To end welfare for foreign nationals and slash overseas aid or 3%?
It is about whether the Right is going to be smart enough, ruthless enough and disciplined enough to put the country first.
Because if we don’t we will lose it.
It is that simple.
The Left understand what is required to win power. Many people on the Right currently do not.
That has to change otherwise it is game over.
