Hmm, this “golden generation” of the U.S. didn’t do as well against Belgium as the Michael Bradley/Jozy Altidore version from Brazil 2014, did they?

I’m not saying the game against England means a lot to Mexicans, but they have put the little baby Jesus at the Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral in a full Mexico kit and trainers with the World Cup ball.
There are people praying to him for a Mexico win.

Every World Cup you have 3-4 teams at a similar level as title contenders, it’s not the case for this one.
France 🇫🇷 is number 1, clearly the best team. It does not mean they will win it all but there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that this is the best team in the 2026 World Cup.
Sucks for Mexico that Ecuador is probably the one game in the World Cup the altitude in Mexico City isn’t a significant advantage for them.

In 2008, Japanese researchers conducted an experiment to show how traffic jams can form without any obvious cause.
In the test, 22 cars were instructed to drive in a circle at a constant speed of 30 km/h (18.6 mph).
Despite following these simple instructions, slight variations in driver speed caused a ripple effect-invariably, one car slowed down, prompting others to brake, eventually leading to a "phantom" traffic jam.
Living on a street that is boxed in by the Toronto Waterfront Marathon route really let’s you see what selfish a-holes a large proportion of drivers are.
Unbelievable! Congratulations #CWNT. Inspirational result under trying circumstances! #PARIS2024
