It's that time again! Along with most game companies, mine did more layoffs. In the off chance that you're at a place that IS hiring, (and allows 100% WFH) I have experience with, and am looking for these rolls:
Game Director
Design Director
Lead Designer
Lead Level Designer

Oh snap! I haven't been on the bird app in a few days due to work and such, but this was an awesome thing to come back and see. Had an absolute blast doing this with @deegthoughts , homie is classy and chill and it was such a good time 💙🚀
Shout out to @Game_Dev_Carto , a real one, for sitting down with me and telling the true story of Planetside Arena, from behind the scenes.

Check out this interview with Maclaine, where in the first 20 minutes he talks a bit about the ups and downs of playing in Bang Camaro! (also working at Harmonix and working on Guild Wars.)
I sat down with Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons lead composer @maclainediemer to talk Guild Wars music, and about his unique journey to game dev from playing in a rock band, to working on Rock Band, and beyond.
Check it out!
