omemo: Turn screenshots into smart links that resurface when you need them
betalist.com/startups/omemo
Screenshots are broken.
We take them because something matters.
Then they disappear into the camera roll.
So the right screenshot comes back at the right moment: 馃尦open nearby, 馃巵price dropped, 馃摵 now streaming, 馃ィ dinner time, 馃洬 trip coming up
No folders. No tagging. No organizing.
Screenshots that finally do something.

the current set of photo products (apple photos or google photos) are so deeply broken that it鈥檚 no longer even funny.
when you really think about it photos are the densest behavioral corpus most ppl own from locations, ppl, food, relationships, health, taste, regressions, & moods but the dominant ui is still grid of shit ton of squares sorted by time.
apple/google have nibbled at this w/ memories & face clustering but it鈥檚 all decorative. nobody is treating the library as a layer for understanding the person. that鈥檚 a huge huge opportunity for an ai native experience. obviously non trivial to do well, but it鈥檒l be fun to push boundaries here.
