Dear Designers: I see you're struggling. I see the best of us fall and it really hurts me. But I've seen this to happen all the way back in 2024. Hence I've built @fountible not to make it a SaaS or get rich out of it like some fools, but more like a point to prove. Design is taken over, but only by people who can still design. Because I'm working w people w 0 design eye and they spend $1K on AI and still get slop. Human oversight and know how is still the biggest money maker. Not being able to do "shit". I also run a corporate AI agency where we charge $15K/mo where companies can also solve the same problem w $200/mo but they just don't know how. That's why in today's world, either you're a designer, a developer or whatever maker you are, you can't sell your same services of 2020, but have to sell your efficiency.

personal take: as much as I'm techno optimist, I genuinely dislike it when people on X dunk on regular folk for criticizing AI a company has told everyone they will lose their jobs, many companies did layoffs, people have families. on top of saying all the layoffs are necessary so AI proves econ value until it cures the cancer or saves planet but they did anything but those so far you might be making a ton from AI, many don't. some people also found a ton of purpose from their work which is gone. I'm not saying we should console people but maybe also don't dunk on a frustrated mass? the field is already detested and this is not helping

On the right: Original reference image, given to Bro AI. One the left: Bro perfectly generated/implemented fully editable, layered version in 28 minutes. PS: Bro created the reference crops and carbon copy checking layers himself. Crafting with AI has never been this good.
