It feels like no one wants to really connect with nor engage with art because nobody connects with each other anymore. People see the world in strictly black and white, good and evil; nothing can be nuanced, and there can't be a deeper meaning to anything. It's sad to see.

The best way to explain media illiteracy is: people don't engage with art anymore, they strictly consume it. Nobody wants to read into a character's complexity, if someone didn't like the ending to a show suddenly the entire series was terrible; you want to look, not connect.

i love when my ship is not canon. like yes pls let me imagine their first kiss and their confession and how they realized their feelings for each other. i love having so many fics about different scenarios in which all of these happen without having to adhere to canon

@PrimeVideo How can you see the success of this fabulous, exciting show and cancel it? Let's get @netflix or @appletv or @hulu to #saverideordie #renewrideordie

You most definitely are.

genuinely cannot think of an easier task than boycotting Pink and Ed Sheeran

What a loser!
Ed Sheeran on why he doesnโt publicly discuss politics:
โMy audience includes young people, often children, of all backgrounds. Those who come to my shows do not expect a political forum. I respect Macklemore's strength of purpose to stand up and shout for what he believes. However, there is room for multiple approaches to the same end: peaceโ

If not for Tim Curry, Brennan wouldn't have gotten a job at CollegeHumor, and Dropout would be a very different place today...
