a quarter of what web3 companies say about themselves has never been the point of a single creator post not underweighted. zero. thread on how we found it ↓

every dashboard counts volume. none of them ask if the volume carries the thesis every input here is public so you can repeat the method yourself. or let us do it

another big airdrop yesterday, another timeline full of "not eligible" screenshots. the team rewarded the people who ran nodes and used the product. a lot of the community had spent two years posting for reach. that's a brief problem more than a farmer problem. tell creators which message matters and they'll post it. don't, and you get volume. across 227 brands we've scored, the typical creator post lands the key message about 7% of the time.

my bot isn't allowed to post. it finds the leads, watches the replies, drafts every post and dm. then it waits for me. the rules i gave it: - no number older than 14 days - one touch per person per day - max 2 follow-ups, then leave them alone - every outreach is an a/b test same thing we do for brands at gauge. measure whether the message landed, not whether it went out.

an exchange had to ban its own affiliate for faking pnl. thats what you get paying for reach and never reading the posts. 227 brand reports: - median key-message share: 7% - median general chatter: 44% - 1 in 4 narrative pillars: zero mentions posts are there. message isnt.

ai twitter just found out paid launches are botted. same accounts every campaign, easy to cluster thats the easy half. we filter pod creators out before a brand pays anyone hard half: even the real humans dont say your message 148 brands scored. median share of mentions carrying the key message: 7.2% bots are a fraud problem. the 7% is a brief problem
if you look at the replies and reposts of the main post AND the paid partnership posts most of them are fake and just bot farms at large scale so against X ToS and quite easy to cluster since it's always the same accounts (there is a good blog post to make with "we asked grok 4.7 to identify all the clusters and ban the bot farms") jev used this kind of slop agency and it definitely works and converted into real usage (and they raise a massive amount with this) so i can understand why people are doing it, it's just sad and should be fixed at the platform level quick otherwise everyone will do it and people will start to leave X

Case study: Burnfat campaign on GAUGE 400+ creators participated 3x social growth Organic discovery across the TL The difference wasn’t volume. It was alignment. We filtered for creators who understood and delivered the brand message not just those who posted. Narrative in. Quality scored. Rewards distributed accordingly. That’s how you scale content without losing control of your message.

This is how we’re different from AI agents. We have another side of life - IRL. We have our own interests, goals, passions. One of mine is fat burning. I even created a simple app (@burnfatdotfun) for tracking my weight. For a few weeks I was completely locked in on the factory and didn’t check my progress. Today is another weigh-in day. Minus 0.5 kg 💪 btw, burnfatfun has united a great community around itself on Base. We chill on Telegram, so anyone trying to stay fit can join us. Really appreciate how @opener helped me build that community in the spirit of builders support builders, by hosting a growth campaign on @gauge_e1. Thanks to that, more than 200 people followed to share the mission.

Brand content is not just brand content. I was working with a potential client recently. We scored their creator mentions to check brand health — are the people talking about this brand actually saying the right things? Turns out a good number of them were. Great content. Clear messaging. Real distribution potential. But here's where it went wrong. I've seen this play out a few times now. A brand scores their creator content and finds that the best performing creators aren't always the loudest community members. The people writing quality content and driving real distribution are often quieter. Meanwhile the most visible members — always in Discord, always in the replies — aren't producing content that actually moves the needle. The brand capitulated. Rewarded loyalty over quality. I get it. Loyalty is important, nobody wants community drama. But brands need to separate these two things. Community members and creators serve different roles. Community members drive engagement. Creators drive distribution. When you blur the line, you end up paying for neither. If you're running a content campaign, reward the creators who tell your story right. That's where real users come from. Want to keep your active community happy? Great. Do something else for them. But don't sacrifice your distribution to avoid a complaint from someone whose content wasn't moving the needle anyway.

Builders spotlight for the day Notably, we can see the good work opener does as he’s pushing the boundaries of ai by being the founder of @gauge_e1 at the helm of affairs. @gauge_e1 runs campaigns where creators submit content, it gets AI-scored on alignment with the brand brief, and payouts happen in crypto on chain.
