I like the idea of it, maybe it could’ve become good in live action with good actors and cinematography… but it’s perfect as it is as anime… and anyone can watch and enjoy it. Also those action scenes would be hell to film
#AOT What if Attack on Titan became a live-action series ? ✨✨

Watched the first ep of East of Eden. I think they did a good job with script, yes a lot is cut but the main plot points happened. The acting and cinematography are esp great! Excited for the rest of the season

Loved how they handled ep 4 making it into a whole separate episode with Kate’s storyline. Truly brilliant decision, pure horror ! Brilliant job so far

Ep 5 was great too but I hate how they didn’t show Samuel enough, he was such a big part of the book and I both understand their wish to focus on Trasks but Hamiltons were the heart of the story. At least they’re giving Lee his well deserved screen time, the actor is superb.

This was so well written from such a unlikeable unreliable pov! It’s only 56 pages long but the tragedy of this relationship is so palpable and relatable. What truly stunned me is how ambiguous the authors left the meek one’s action, so many interpretations from such short story.

An amazing anti war short story, Zweig’s writing is as beautiful as always. The way he understands the complexity of human souls and how he is able to translate it on page is so powerful, the main dialogue about freedom and duty, war and peace is incredibly fulfilling.

SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026) Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love. We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we weren’t in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. “But Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to risk—getting lost in Hollywood for years and years?”. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in London’s West End and on Broadway. America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire. His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen. Ian McKellen 29 October 2026 Photo: University of Huddersfield

What a beautiful writing ! Loved the suspense, character dynamics were complex and even tho I hated that the main character was nameless I saw my younger self in her! I wish the ending focused more on what happened afterwords but I still loved how it begins where it ends.

I like how readable and beautiful the writing was, the themes and plotting were well done. Some of the character dynamics and arcs were well done but some characters imo were underdeveloped. Some dialogues didn’t feel subtle enough to me. Overall great read but not a new fav

I really loved the ending and how Pip ended up where he did, like the author didn’t award him with another female love interest.
