Rest in peace to a true master of his craft. I absolutely adore Tony Stella’s style when it came to movie posters, his work for the Hong Kong classics line is the stuff of legends.
I am deeply saddened to share that my Dear friend Tony Stella has passed away.
My thoughts are with his family during this incredibly difficult time.
At the moment, his family is working to gain access to his business and manage next steps.
I will share news as it becomes available.
Thank you for keeping Tony and his loved ones in your thoughts. ❤️

Legendary artist Tony Stella has passed away...
He's known for his incredible poster and Blu-ray artwork celebrating cult cinema, martial arts films, horror, and classic genre movies. His detailed painted style became a favorite among collectors, especially through his work with Arrow Video and other boutique labels.

Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones.

Can we just take a minute to appreciate that Justin Bieber preparing for his #Coachella performance by chilling out in a 2007 Swindon Town third shirt. I wonder if behind the child he’s holding it’s still got the Kingswood logo intact. #stfc
I just got out of seeing this in London today. An incredible experience, and one that you cannot miss whether you’ve seen the film before or now.
John Woo’s Hard Boiled is back in selected cinemas across the UK this week in a glorious 4K release from @ArrowFilmsVideo
If you’ve never experienced Hard Boiled on the big screen, then i implore you to go.
Just remember to pick your jaw off the floor when you leave the cinema.

ALT Die Hard title card with an airplane seen from behind against a yellow sky, white text in the upper right of the frame reads "A John McTiernan Film"
Only Terminator 2 rivals the undisputed aura that Hard Boiled has.
People who use AI want to engage in hobbies, but they don’t want to suffer through the teething early stages where they kind of suck and so resort to soulless caricatures that are *technically* ok but fall short of any artistic meaningfulness.
Total Guitar issue 64, December 1999. Can’t believe they were calling it nu metal even back then; always thought it was a retrospective term – at South West, England
