Some people think war is a human invention and some think revolt is a human invention
Ants will do slave raids and sometimes those slaves will snap, have a slave revolt, and target the slaver colony's young.

one reason for this is straight people being in charge of the productions. Debauching a hunky jock with no motion and a great body is a gay fantasy that plays out in the film, it’s not about a guy with glasses coming into his own!! He’s meat!! #meat
It annoys me when Rocky Horror revivals portray Brad as a Nerd and not a Square Jock.

Marketing wisdom since around 2012 when Web 2.0 launched has been that making people angry builds an audience-- and that's it. No aftercare, no kiss. It's everywhere in media. Once you know that you'll recognize it everywhere.
It was marketed as: - 2 years until permanent underclass - you’ll all lose your jobs - your skills will be worthless - we’re going to replace you - your entire career is now a $20/month subscription All in an already terrible job market btw. Possibly the most important technology humanity has ever built, with some of the worst marketing imaginable. The labs completely failed communicating the tech, miserably bad and only improved just end of last year. How did anyone expect that to make people excited?

Do you have time to hear a bizarrely in depth rant about a guy named Robert Moses
Can someone from NYS explain to me why a lot of Westchester votes Dem while Long Island votes GOP?

I haven't used this website as a basis for reality in many years so seeing comments calling me a sociopath for joking about 9/11 is like seeing a mouse with cheese

Seems not everyone thinks this story is funny. Please pretend I saw it on this instead
One random day in fifth grade my teacher left the room, came back in and told us all to take out our books and start reading. Hours passed, she never started the lesson back up. Then parents started taking students out of the classroom. Finally, my mom came to get me. 1/

Does anyone else have trauma that's objectively kind of funny

My dad was at the door. My parents were divorced and shared custody of me. My dad was saying "It's your day!" While she screamed at him. Years later he admitted that during 9/11 he forgot that I was in Manhattan.

Post scriptum; my mom was late because when the planes first hit her employers announced that they would not bow to terrorism and the day would continue as normal. Then the buildings collapsed and they said Ok everyone can have a half day

Yes this was tried in the 18th century. It started a political movement called Everything That Has Happened Since Then
Has anyone done this same thing with Christianity or Islam or whatever, like purging it of all its supernatural elements to create a generic humanist philosophy separate from the religion itself? I think you could emerge with something nearly identical to western Buddhism.

Oh my beautiful, tender and magnificent boy
What is truly remarkable about the depictions of Saint Sebastian in art is how they managed to transform his torment into an object of magnetic, perverse desire. The sacred had never been so intensely carnal. It seems I can never look away...

COVER REVEAL I'm currently plugging away on edits for The Meat-Eating Sun. Right now, I'm hoping to have it out sometime around Christmas.

I am hearing that on her deathbed, Malfoid received the light of Islam and unhesitatingly recited the Shahada. Even now, she looks down on the Ummah from the gardens of Jannah. Truly there is no god but Allah, and Mohammad is his prophet!
