This case is too absurd to be ignored and will have consequences for Bitcoin.

The administration said that the War on Crypto has ended. Bit I am still being locked up for 12.5 years, for alleged charges with no attributed victims, no monetary loss, for which every similar federal case receives either probation or up to 3 years sentence. 1/
The Samourai Prize Draw now has over 7,000,000 sats in the prize pot! 🔥

A short basic tutorial on Am-I.exposed to understand how to use it (English version).
I've released v1.2.0 of split-bip110. Changes:
• added multisig support;
• fixed signatures for P2SH inputs;
• added an option to send all transaction to the same address (for people that don't care about UTXO separation);
• improved input parsing and error messages;
Current Blake2b tokens is around 271 USD.
I made a CLI tool [1] for moving your BIP110 coins without touching your BTC.
You feed your UTXO list (exported from Sparrow watch-only) and then you can then generate BIP110 transactions offline.
It uses a sighash flag specific to BIP110 chain [2], thus making the transactions invalid on BTC.
Instructions on GitHub. Be cautious and ask around. (1/2)

RoninDojo desktop x86 support is here! 🎉
You can now run your Bitcoin node on regular 64-bit Intel or AMD computer, not just ARM devices like Rock5b or Raspberrry Pi.
That means more performance, brand options, and affordable hardware choices for sovereign Bitcoin users.

The Liquid hack negotiation is happening in OP_RETURN. So I turned it into a chat app.
Live, PGP-verified, with shared reactions, and a slot for the attacker's private key whenever he drops it.

Round 22. Fourteen hours after the public ultimatum, Blockstream replies. Encrypted. 4.9 KB, the longest message of the whole saga.
He said "all messages will be in plaintext" and threatened to publish the key. They answered with more ciphertext than ever. Whatever is in there, they're not saying it in public.
598.5 BTC still with him.

It seems @NeoxaPortal added BTCB2 (BIP110) again. Yesterday the deposit address was not available.
FWIW, I was able to send BTCB2, trade for BTC and withdraw.
Note: BTC transactions are being replayed on BIP110; you might need a big OP_RETURN (or maybe sub—sat fee + RBF).
The question now is how to swap in a privacy—preserving way. One Neoxa account per UTXO is not cool.
WARNING: USER REPORTS FUNDS MISSING AFTER DEPOSITING TO NEOXA EXCHANGE
A Bitcoin user is warning others after depositing roughly $500 in BTC to NeoEX/Neoxa, which claims to be the first exchange to list BTCB2, the BIP-110 Bitcoin fork.
The user says the deposit has received 18+ on-chain confirmations but has still not appeared in their exchange balance after more than three hours, despite the platform stating that only three confirmations are required.
The exchange reportedly accepts crypto deposits only and currently displays BTCB2 trading around $93, along with apparent trades of 1–2 BTC.
The user believes the displayed trading activity and BTCB2 listing may be fake and is warning others not to deposit funds until the situation is clarified.

Bill & Keonne are still in federal prison for writing open-source, non-custodial Bitcoin software. Writing code is not a crime. This injustice has to end. 🧡

I've written my first public vulnerability disclosure, detailing a DoS vulnerability I found in Core Lightning.
An attacker can crash a node simply by opening a connection and flooding it with ping messages.
