Phunks are no more legitimate than any other @larvalabs #Cryptopunk derivative, you've just been told by influencers that they are. A narrative about copyright and making a statement has been created, when in reality they just bought a ton of them and looking to profit from it.

I’ll be conservative and guesstimate that 10% of those 259 total Hoodies are in lost wallets leaving us with ~233 total (feel free to substitute your own percentage of lost punks here).

All that being said, I think Hoodies (after Aliens, Apes, and Zombies) and are going to be some of the most hard to acquire NFTs in existence. Not just because they are already in the 300 ETH range and rising, but because so few will be willing to part with their last Hoodie.
