I was asked a week before a gallery show to make a piece for it. Starting with an LED disc I had from 5 years back, I collaborated with Opus 5.5 to 3D model, fabricate and program the concept around it: it rewards stillness; built with a presence sensor, ESP32, frosted glass
The LEDs are 4-pin, meaning they can run at high fps. Working with Opus 5.5 I was able to have the visual algorithms run on one core of the ESP32, and on the other core flush the patterns through a buffer, achieving nearly 950 fps, unlocking effects like dithering.
The piece is designed to be cordless/battery powered; I had claude generate measuring instructions for the esp32 and battery ports to align them with the 3d printed enclosure. It was so fast to make test prints and then move to the final things.

Serving as the United States Ambassador to Greece has been the honor of a lifetime. I will forever be grateful to President Donald J. Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio for entrusting me with the extraordinary privilege of representing the greatest country in the history of the world.
From my first day as Ambassador, I have worked tirelessly to advance President Trump’s America First agenda, strengthen our strategic alliance with Greece, and deliver meaningful victories for the American people.
During my tenure, we have helped secure historic agreements to expand American liquefied natural gas exports to Europe, advanced the Vertical Corridor to reduce Europe’s dependence on Russian energy, strengthened our defense and security partnership with a critical NATO ally, and expanded opportunities for American businesses and investment throughout the region.
I am especially proud of the role our Embassy has played in strengthening American energy dominance, advancing economic cooperation, and ensuring that the United States remains the indispensable leader in Southeast Europe.
These accomplishments are a testament to President Trump’s bold leadership, Secretary Rubio’s commitment to American diplomacy, and the extraordinary men and women who serve our country every day.
I also want to address the recent allegations against me. These allegations are false, and I intend to vigorously defend my name, my reputation, and my integrity. I have dedicated my professional life to fighting for justice, standing up for what is right, and defending the values that make America exceptional. I will not allow false accusations to define my decades of public service.
My gratitude and respect for President Trump and Secretary Rubio remain unwavering. I am proud of what we accomplished together, and I will always be a loyal supporter of President Trump and his mission to Make America Great Again.
While my time as Ambassador may be coming to an end, my commitment to President Trump, the America First movement, and the country I love will never end.
It has been the honor of my lifetime to serve the United States of America. My deepest heartfelt appreciation to the people of Greece for their hospitality, partnership, and welcoming me with open arms. God bless President Trump, God bless our incredible diplomats and service members, and God bless the United States of America.

football-docs v0.11.1 is out!
this one welcomes a new provider: @driblab 👋
what is football-docs? it is a searchable index of football data provider documentation for your AI coding agents, so we’re all on the same (and latest) page.
Driblab publishes its API guide publicly, which made it a great fit. the docs are built from that guide and checked against the live API, so your agent knows what the API actually sends back, down to the field names.
the index is now at 2,325 searchable chunks across 24 providers and tools. the full details are in the release notes: github.com/withqwerty/footba…
learn more here (including installation instructions): nutmeg.withqwerty.com/#footb…
as always, feedback is welcome!

7 weeks ago I launched La Residencia, a first of it's kind, #aibuildersmx residency in Mexico City.
From 300 applicants I championed 10 builders. I selected each person because something resonated - potential, passion, spirit, curiosity, hunger, and grace. Someone who wasn't given their shot. A builder inexperienced and raw but hungry to learn. An entrepreneur without a community.
La Residencia was a collective community experiment to test the limits of communal learning, growth, experimentation, entrepreneurship, failure, and success - in what is to be considered the lonely experience of entrepreneurship.
What was transformative and perspective changing is and always will be the people. We created something powerful and magical out of nothing. We willed together a feeling indescribable and gave endlessly to each other.
As a collective we built 10+ products, pivoted 4 times, and monetized 4 businesses.
Personally, the last 7 weeks have been a huge test of my will and spirit. 4 countries traveled, 6 cities, 14 hour days, 6 products launched / 2 monetized, 2 work teams built, and thousands of slack messages sent - all while managing main job commitments and leading the residency and being a participant of it. I gave it my all and then some. I learned and failed a lot.
This kind of project has never been done this way in Mexico. It's what made it worth trying. The feedback I received from my network, friends, and local mentors was validation enough that what we were doing was culturally unique and radical in this market. I hope this inspires others to follow suit in their own ways.
This has been my most important tech community project. It's hard to express this in words, right now I can only feel the emptiness that it's over and the gratitude that it happened.
Lastly, thank you to our residents for contributing to this program, your trust in me, and for giving it your all.
To our residents, what did you think?
