I often point out I'm a Reagan Republican... I have been one since I first voted in November of 1980 for then candidate for President, Ronald Reagan...
Here, in this video, after a similar loss of ground and power to @TheDemocrats, Reagan recommends being bold about who we are as conservatives and not 'broaden the base'...I agree...
The base did not turn out for this election cycle... this is something that has happened before, it it will happen again...
We'll get through...we must not water down our principles, but be bold in proclaiming and promoting them. We must motivate and educate the base and those who believe in America, on the importance of resilience and fortitude and living by the Constitution...
I was hoping people would not vote against their interests...many just did not vote, causing the same outcome...
We have a long road to travel to regain the losses of last night...we must do this by reflecting on mistakes, but, more important, demonstrating who we are as Republicans and being clear on the policies and principles and values that are at the core of our actions...
The Republicans were crushed in the 1974 midterms. Reagan later delivered a speech explaining why:
♦️ “The meaning of the last election will not be found among those who voted. It will be found among those who stayed home—the biggest non-voter bloc in our nation’s history. And why did they stay home? Well, because they said they couldn’t see any difference between the two parties.”♦️
There’s a lesson in that worth remembering. You can’t win voters by simply telling them how bad the other side is. You have to give them a compelling reason to vote for you. Stand for something. Be bold, unapologetically conservative, offer a clear contrast, and most importantly, deliver on the promises you campaigned on. Voters need to see a real difference, not just hear about one.

I call upon the Senators and Representatives of this country, as well as our President, to take whatever action necessary to secure our elections, investigate thoroughly and ensure that the results of these elections are fair.”
This is exactly why President Trump signed EO 13848.
It declared a national emergency over foreign interference that undermines confidence in U.S. elections — including through covert propaganda, disinformation, and efforts targeting infrastructure or candidates.
The order still stands. It requires DNI assessments within 45 days of elections and gives Treasury the power to freeze assets and sanction foreign persons and their networks.
Investigate thoroughly. Secure the elections.

There’s a reason why Florida was the only state that went darker red.
Florida was the only state “immune” from the blue wave.
That’s not a coincidence.
They were the only state that fully cleansed their election system.
Desantis deserves credit for that.
Mara Lago area even flipped a blue seat.

Did you catch the important “safeguards” that protected against yesterday’s election steal?
They centered around registration integrity, vote counting integrity and ballot integrity.
And “student ID” is not valid to vote.
Citizenship requirement to vote.
This is all coming nationwide.
But first you have to expose and prosecute the fraudulent election system officials to kick off the demand for a nationwide cleansing.
I believe that is incoming.
