ALT Figure 13. Prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 lineages among sequenced COVID-19 cases in England, 13 October 2025 to 11 October 2026. - Top chart: Stacked area graph showing the changing percentage of SARS-CoV-2 variants over 12 months. - Late 2025–early 2026: XFG, NB.1.8.1, RE.1.1 and RE.2 were prominent. - Mid-2026: RF.5, RV.2.1 and other emerging lineages increased. - October 2026: TA.1 and ST.1 became prominent, alongside RF.5, RV.2.1, XFG and smaller lineages. - Bottom chart: Weekly numbers of sequenced cases, with approximately 140 sequences in the latest period. - Legend: Identifies 16 named lineages, plus Other and Unassigned, using different colours.
