Twins from the hood; one just made it big on an online crypto casino
and there was no way he was leaving his homie sidelined
So he told him about the secret site, and for him to win big
He has to use the code “STEVE”
Just signed up and placed a bet on one or two different varieties of games
My entry to #Gamdom100kRound2 inspired by the movie Sinners

One thing that really makes me, and anyone who gets paid in cryptocurrency, angry is the fact that there’s no app where we can swap our fiat to cryptocurrencies
This makes us go through the stress of messaging a vendor to buy some USDT from them
Most of us do this because of the fees CEXs charge
making it sometimes impossible to get the cryptocurrencies we need at the right time
It’s not that these vendors are perfect, but because they’re most often our friends’ friends, we trust them, at least not to disappoint us
But the reverse is the case in the video below, and as the case unfolds
you’ll smile knowing that the solution you’ve been searching for is inside the app you already use
That app is @spenda, and its new V2.0 feature makes this possible
Enjoy the video!

being early in crypto only matters if you are contributing to the right ecosystem.
@NEARLegion is building a community-driven initiative inside NEAR Protocol where you can test tools, contribute to projects
and level up through ranks like Ascendant, Vanguard, Prime and many others
It is more than just passive tasks; it is about building and connecting within Web3

no one really talked about this, but in july
a single trade on Hyperliquid's SK Hynix pre-market market triggered a chain reaction that led to roughly $60M in liquidations
the problem was that the trade pushed the market's mark price down nearly 19%, and that price was used to calculate traders' liquidations
think about that for a second
when you're trading a tokenized stock, the price you see is more than just numbers on a screen
it can determine whether your position survives or gets liquidated
and that's one of the challenges with bringing traditional assets onchain:
you need more than a token, you need reliable pricing, proper risk controls and clear rules around how that asset can move
this is where you'd need the @injective 's Meridian upgrade
– it introduces controls for tokenized assets, including rules around who can hold or transfer them
while strengthening infrastructure used by onchain markets
– Injective is also testing private RFQ trading, giving traders a way to request quotes without exposing every detail of their orders publicly
the upgrade won't automatically prevent incidents like the one in July
but it addresses some of the infrastructure challenges that matter as more financial assets move onchain
because putting asset onchain is only the first step
making it work reliably is where the real challenge is
if you still hold USDC on ethereum, I've got some news
you can now move it to injective and it arrives as native usdc
and I'm not about a wrapped copy
let me explain
open bridge: injective.network/cctp and connect your wallet
choose ethereum as the source, @injective as the destination
and type in how much you want to send
what happens under the hood:
your usdc gets burned on ethereum, circle confirms it
and the same amount is minted on injective, that's why nothing is wrapped
look over the amount and fees, hit bridge, and approve it in your wallet
give it a few minutes
when it's done, the usdc is sitting in your wallet on injective
from there you can trade it, lend it, or put it up as collateral across injective apps
it's now pretty simple, try it out and leave your feedback
“a tree is only as strong as the roots that sustain it.”
the blockchain industry has a problem nobody should ignore.
imagine a blockchain that attracts thousands of users. developers build useful apps, people trade, transactions increase, and the ecosystem grows.
but here’s the catch ‣ activity alone doesn’t guarantee sustainable ecosystem value.
ethereum’s layer 2 ecosystem has faced a real version of this economic challenge.
after the dencun upgrade reduced transaction data costs in march 2024, the cost structure and revenue flows of layer 2 networks changed significantly.
lower fees benefited users, but also changed how much revenue some ecosystems could retain or contribute elsewhere.
this raises an important question ⇟
beyond processing transactions, how can a blockchain create a sustainable economic relationship between successful applications and the ecosystem supporting them?
that’s where @picklechain comes into the conversation.

we’ve all been there.
just got paid for a gig and you can’t wait to convert it to fiat and go live a little.
so you call your friends to set the date, place and time.
while on the call, you ask, “if he knew any vendor that can pay naira on time?”
you say yes, as he forwards you someone.
after the call, you messaged the vendor and sent your USDT. he responds with, “stand by for confirmation.”
you smiled as you dressed up, unknowingly that this was going to be the longest “stand by” of your life.
after waiting 4 hours and canceling the hangout with your friends, he finally sends the money and says, “sorry, rates were unstable.”
after receiving it, you told one of your friends about everything that happened.
and that was when she said, “omor, if only you had @useswapto , all this would have been avoided.”
then you asked, “what is Swapto?”
let me explain 🧵

Some people are good with gambling and I find it amazing
But lately I’ve discovered that isn’t me

skip if you haven’t had to argue with a vendor before
skip if you haven’t had to wait longer than usual to receive your naira
and lastly skip if don’t swap crypto to naira
good you’re still here, that means you’ve been a victim of this and trust me
i too have been a victim of this,
the experience even lead to my bybit account being restricted (full gist in the video)
but if we all used @useswapto those issues would have been easily avoided
why?
formerly known as Dtunes, Swapto rebranded to give users back control
here only you decides, if you want to swap, hold or spend your assets
still curious? the video below explains it well
and just to confirm what you’ve been itching about
the link is in the comments so try it out today

for thousands of years, humans have done something remarkably consistent with gold.
we buy it ‣ store it ‣ and wait.
and to be fair, it definitely works.
gold has preserved value across wars, currencies, empires and generations, but there’s a strange limitation ⇟
the moment you put gold away, it becomes financially idle.
① no interest
② no dividends
③ no cash flow.
just an asset sitting in a vault while the rest of the financial system keeps moving.
so what happens when one of humanity’s oldest stores of value becomes a productive financial asset ?
that’s where tokenized gold and @stakemygold gets interesting.
