Hey, LeBron. Tonight, stand still with an ounce of Fucking respect for those who have died in the past for our freedom. Without them...there is no basketball or YOU. #Cavs

LeBron James was born to a 16-year-old single mother in Akron, Ohio. He bounced between friends just to have a place to sleep. Then this country handed him everything.
It gave him over $500 million in NBA salary and over $1 billion more in endorsements and business deals. Forbes puts his net worth at $1.4 billion. He was the first active NBA player in history to become a billionaire.
And when the national anthem plays for the country that made all of that possible, he can't give it two minutes of respect.
No hand over his heart. No standing still. He's goofing around, flailing his arms, flapping around, pretending to shoot a basketball, doing literally anything except honoring the flag that turned a kid from Akron into a billionaire.
That's not a protest. That's not a statement. That's just disrespect.
Millions of Americans work their whole lives and never see a fraction of what this country gave him. Men and women died so he could play a game for a living in front of sold-out arenas. The least he could do is stand there and act like it means something.

Which is ironic because life is only getting harder."

I love the gym because seeing the same 6-7 people every day without ever speaking to them is my kind of social life.

buying real food from real farmers who dont use pesticides is the most important thing you can do.
every time you buy packaged crap, youre funding the industries that are poisoning us: monocrop agriculture, pesticides, seed oils, soybeans and other garbage.
youre ruining the planet and your health at the same time.
every time you buy real food you do the opposite.

you need to be starving multinational corporations.
you need to be buying locally.
you need to only buy from founder owned brands
you need to shop at the farmers market, turn off the news, stop doomscrolling.
this is how you change the world.

Fanbases never understand demographic shifts. When PSU was PSU, PA was full of steelworkers’ and miners’ kids who were hard kids. Western PA was so stacked PSU AND Pitt were BOTH national powerhouses. Now Pittsburgh is packed with soft children of health/tech executive yuppies.

The weight room will change your life.
And I’m not just talking about throwing harder, hitting the ball farther, or getting faster.
You’ll get stronger.
But you’ll also learn how to struggle.
How to be uncomfortable.
How to keep going when your mind is telling you to stop.
You’ll learn that progress takes time.
That confidence is earned.
That nobody can do the reps for you.
Baseball will test you mentally more than almost any game.
Failure. Pressure. Slumps. Injuries. Competition.
The weight room prepares you for those moments in ways that have nothing to do with muscle.
Build your body.
Build your confidence.
Build your mental toughness.
Build habits that will follow you long after baseball is over.
The weight room will change your life. 🔨⚾️
