WH announces huge change to #H1B program, to help Americans get starter jobs in software, accounting, design, etc.
The lottery process is ended & new visas will go to the companies which offer highest pay. The minimum pay will be median pay for the job.

In 2003, I was replaced @grainger by an H1-B visa for 1/2 my pay.
Although I rebounded and built my own company, I'm bitter about it and know that it was grossly unfair.
The visa holder literally came into my office and was given my job.
Company said "He is cheaper."
