I think it is witchcraft bambi at this point 😭😭😂😂
But family meeting over a fridge is crazy 😹
I wouldn’t have gone anyways.
The day my younger sister called me wicked, she was standing in my kitchen, pointing at the fridge I had just bought with my hard-earned money.
“Since you’re the one without children, what exactly do you need this big fridge for?”
I stared at her.
I had spent three years saving for that fridge. As a fashion designer, there were months I worked until midnight just to make ends meet.
Now my sister wanted me to give it to her because she had two children.
“Your husband can buy you one,” I replied.
She laughed.
“With what money? You know his business has been struggling. Besides, you’re my elder sister. What is family for?”
I refused.
She left my house angrily and blocked me on WhatsApp.
Three days later, my mother called.
“Your sister said you embarrassed her. Why can't you give her the fridge? You can always buy another one.”
“Mummy, did you ask her why she thinks my money belongs to her?”
“Don't be selfish. You don't have children yet. At least help someone who does.”
That statement broke my heart.
When I lost my job two years earlier, I called my sister and asked her to lend me ₦30,000 to buy fabric for a customer's order.
She told me she couldn't help because she had her own family to take care of.
I didn't fight her. I started small, worked hard, and saved until I could afford the things I wanted.
Now that I was finally making progress, suddenly everybody remembered that we were family.
A week later, my mother organized a family meeting and told everyone I had refused to help my struggling sister.
My uncles called me proud. My cousins said money had changed me.
I listened quietly until my sister stood up and said something that made me lose my patience.
“You don't even have a child. What are you saving all this money for? In the end, who will inherit everything you own?”
I looked at her, smiled, and opened my phone.
What I showed the entire family next made the room go completely silent.
With all this feedback I better open a new account else where and abandon the new absa account 💔
Hello @AbsaUganda , you have deducted nearly UGX 1 million from my account in less than 12 hours. Since yesterday, I have reached out on all your platforms, but you have failed to explain what you’re charging me for.
I am just a young Ugandan hustling to make ends meet, and here you are taking my hard-earned money without any explanation. Why @Absa @MosesRutahigwa
😹 There’s always that one person 💔
Unha so who stops them?

Thank you for your generosity 🤝
Good afternoon UOX 🤝
I followed up with the family of late Sheilla with one of the members @KankirihoDanie5 who volunteered to travel with me.
The family was given a bill of up-to Ugx 43M to cater for the surgeries that the late had undergone. They managed to clear some percentage and they’re now left with Ugx 17M so that the hospital can release the body for them.
According to the explanation the mom shared, the hospital rejected the land title and wants money.
My role here is to ask for your support inform of contributions, amplification and also ask you to pray for the family in this hard time.
I have attached contacts and a bank account that you can channel contributions.
We shall also have a space today 8:00PM with one of the family members to raise money for the family.
For any inquiries kindly DM
Kind Regards
