Bill Kapp-Former Baseball Coach

So brilliant and true. Knowledge and Practice will exceed talent in most cases. The hardest working individuals tend to get luckier than the ones who don’t work hard.

This year’s west coast Barnstormer is in our own backyard! Been going to these for years! It’s free if you’re an ABCA member! @ABCA1945

What a difference from a couple months ago. Coaching your son has it pros and cons Kai’s progress is definitely falls in the pro category.

Kai getting a piece of the ball during Saturdays game.

Let the kids play the game. Coach and umpire hang out before the game and during the game coach meets with umpire to complain about our guy’s delivery after 45 pitches and then umpire reminds other umpire to do what they talked about before the game. #baseball @deric_quigley

Absolutely……you cannot discount having an administration that supports athletics. It’s one of the biggest factors on why great programs are great.

It’s a tale of 2 games but high school - little league it’s all the same. Develop your guys to throw strikes by giving them the tools to get the job done. Hats off Sale and Wyatt to develop into #strikethrowers by trusting the process and working hard. @deric_quigley @ABCA1945

Don’t think I ever caught 4 baseball games in a weekend.

Woke me up from my Sunday slumber to work on his swing. He’s still hitting around the ball instead of straight to it so it’s top hand drills time! Glad he wants to get better. @deric_quigley

Kai got his first hit today! Very proud dad! @deric_quigley

3 in a row! Great W today off a walk off. Pitchers dominated with 17 K’s and only 4 BB, no earned runs and 1 hit allowed. @deric_quigley

💯 After a pretty good run coaching HS, to pivot and coach at this level just reminds me how rewarding this is at any level.

From HS to LL. So much fun coaching these little guys. Watching the player development translate to building life skills, like camaraderie, strong work ethic and individual goal setting translate to success on the field and hopefully off as well. #baseball @ABCA1945

If you ever how great it feels to be a dad. I received this text from Kai yesterday after his game. @deric_quigley

Gotta have the swag chain! @deric_quigley

Having a great time with Kai and his teammates with @deric_quigley at Gapper’s in Carmichael. #battingpractice #baseball
