People feel existential dread all the time, but are you brave enough to feel existential belonging?

SheetBench is now on @FireworksAI_HQ’s Specialized Intelligence Index.
Finance runs on spreadsheets. Our 50 tasks test whether agents can handle the work, from cleaning data and building pivot tables to forecasting revenue.

We’re working to build the largest collection of private and public practitioner evals.
Today, 31 new partners join the Specialized Intelligence Index. Compare open, closed, and specialized models on real work, weigh quality against cost, and see where training could pay off.

Psychosomatic release can be startlingly immediate.
Sometimes I actually let something go and feel something akin to fascia relaxing. Your body loosens up in ways that you hadn't even registered as tense.
Paying attention to this is odd because you realize that maintaining psychological positions require physical energy input.
Okay so we need Solarflare as a Service.
Who is building this?
SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios.
The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios.
Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said.
Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior.

Data procurement and selling data to labs is going to change forever.
Extremely proud of our team and this launch!
We're announcing the public beta of datavendor.ai
We spent the last two years building the best solution for people buying and selling data, whether you're a researcher in a lab or a company trying to sell data.
Data is the fundamental bottleneck for AI progress, and DataVendor will be the infra that solves it.

We partnered with @sixtyfourai to release RECON, a benchmark for people research. Agents get a name and a few identifying details, then have to find hard-to-find facts about that person: 514 facts across 140 real people.
Across 22 systems, precision was close (56–86%), but recall wasn't (8–84%). Most misses were unanswered fields, not misidentified information.
Sixtyfour XHigh ranked #1 at 70.6% weighted accuracy, and High ranked #2 at 54.3%.

Most people aren’t taking RSI seriously the same way they didn’t take chain of thought seriously.

watching these new data brokers talk about what type of data they buy is sort of like watching a virgin lie about having sex.
they talk about the most vague, illiquid supply like gas station data and then point you to a broken vibe coded form.

if you want to pivot to selling data: @datavendor_ai

The data broker/lab/reseller/aggregator/marketplace pivot is real.
I have so many receipts in my inbox of people pitching one thing, and now, a few months later, they've launched as a data provider of some sort to AI labs.
Becoming a crowded trade and in theory should push prices down on the average.

When building RL tasks and evals, it's difficult to distinguish between actual model capability failures and bad RL task design.
We're sharing some our task design principles so you can write better tasks before ever evaluating a model on them.

Few understand chip design and rl data quality standards like Sonya and Phinity.
They’re one of the earliest companies in the HUD ecosystem. Wagmi
Excited to finally share that @phinity_ai is now out of stealth! We're announcing our seed fundraise and that we’ve reached 8-figures in annualized run rate.
We’re already working with some of the largest foundation model labs. Our mission is to build fully autonomous chip design so AI can help us search beyond the limits of human engineering and discover computational systems we would never find on our own.
We’re fortunate to have the support of @uncorkcap, which led our $5.2M seed round, with participation from @Moxxie including @JeffDean, following our pre-seed led by @pearvc!
It’s been an amazing few months, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to build the future of chip design with such a talented team.
You can read more about what we’re building and why in our full announcement. phinity.ai/blog/introducing-…
We’re hiring across all disciplines - if you’re interested in working with us, please reach out to me or @aadi_nash.
