These are not isolated rumblings. They point to a deeper crisis of credibility, ideological drift and disconnect from the people’s aspirations. I have repeatedly said, inside and outside the Assembly: this Sarkar has abandoned its ideological moorings, betrayed its manifesto commitments and lost sight of the everyday concerns of the people. A government consumed by internal discord, political patronage and allegations of corruption cannot keep seeking refuge in electoral arithmetic. When dissent erupts from within, excuses run out. When commitments are abandoned, credibility collapses. The question is no longer whether this Sarkar is in trouble. The question is whether it has forfeited the moral authority to govern.
