King Mohammed V of Morocco rejected Hitler's command to assemble all Moroccan Jews for them to be taken to Nazi concentration camps during World War II.
He replied, "There are no Jews in Morocco. There are only Moroccans."
No Moroccan Jew was deported or killed under his rule.
