Replying to @Republicans
@GOP Our standing in the world has ended, we are no longer the shining light of Democracy, you have successfully made this country a stain on the world. Let it be known for all time and eternity. No Democrat, Independent, of knowledgeable Republican who did not cast a vote for trump, will go down in history as those who tried to save the Republic. The rest of you will be seen as the scourge, who not once, but twice, did everything you could to bring this country to its knees, floundering like a wounded eagle. 44 Presidents, 248 years of success, destroyed by the @GOP #MAGA

I encourage you to take a minute and read this incredibly well written take on damage control. Not political, personal. Erik (a great person to follow btw!!!) lays out ways to assess, absorb and move on from next week's elections no matter how the chips fall. Well worth a read!
We need to talk for a minute, because things could fall apart next week. I know a lot of Dems all around the country are half or higher intoxicated with the how things will be better when we win back control of the Senate and the House on Nov 3, but I also know we were stumbling drunk on our own endorphins on what should have been the eve of the election of Hillary Clinton. A little bit of psychological and practical prep now can do a lot to reduce the initial shock and the freeze response on Nov 4th this year, if things go badly. If we need to shift into Long-Term Resistance mode, instead of Victory mode, we can’t afford a long lag while we dwell and wallow. So, just a handful of things we can do: • Visualize and absorb the potential negative outcome. Taking a little time to think about how you will be running on a mix of grief, anger, and autopilot for a while, which will help you avoid being thrown off when they hijack your brain. • Flip the switch in your head. As soon as (and every time) you switch from thinking “Oh my god, we’re doomed; all is lost” or “the world is broken; America is unsavable” or so on, and instead think “OK, what’s next?” or “What can I do to soften the damage,” you switch from the emotional overload of the amygdala and into the frontal cortex. That halts the flood of systemic stress chemicals and opens the tap on neurotransmitters that promote stability, focus, and logical processing. • Change your framework from victim “how long until I/we can heal from this disaster” and instead anchor around the idea of anti-fragility. That’s the powerful quality of things that are actually made stronger and more resilient by stress or overload. Think of ways we already rock at that, like building muscle by constant overload and building immunity through exposure to invaders and vaccines. • Put together a list of small tasks and processes so you can stay in motion even when you are running in a dampened state. Maybe that means meeting and sending out notes of support with people in your network to be supportive of each other. Maybe that is putting a timeline together so you are already thinking about milestones to the next election and small wins you could achieve to get you on the way. Whatever fits with your skillset and is likely to motivate you a little bit. Make them small at first—easy to do even if you are in a crummy mood or tired or full of lame excuses not to do it. Actions of any size are huge in terms of resilience and recovery. I know from years of teaching at all grade levels that the vast majority of you will not take this to heart any more than reminders not to start your term paper the week before it is due, but for those that this does help—each one means one more anchor that others can look to and rally around if things veer toward dystopia.

History proves your words are false. Every time this country falls into economic decline, republiCONS are in charge, EVERY TIME!
Do you want to turn the keys over to radical anti-American Democrats for the next two years? Americans face a contrast between common sense Republicans and crazy Democrats.

WATCH: Why did the FBI not seriously investigate who constructed the infamous “gallows.” Now the most famous picture from January 6. Repost this video to help me crowdsource the identity of the gang of five who rolled a stack of lumber down prominent streets on Capitol Hill before sunrise that day, and then returned to install the noose at almost exactly the same time as violence started. #january6 #j6 #gallows

Not Tough at All I used to visit my horse in that barn, he called me Wilbur and I called him Mr Ed!
WHERE'S THIS? 📺 This one's tough! I don't think I'd recognize it myself without a clue. It might look like an ordinary horse stall, but trust me... this was NO ordinary horse! What TV show are we visiting? ❤️

A case in point: I have more than 50K followers, but two hours after posting the post below has 18 views!
I'd appreciate it if @elonmusk stopped shadowbanning everyone he disagrees with. I earned a blue check under Twitter and got more than 50K followers. Since Musk took over, I've paid his monthly feel but I've gained virtually no followers and Musk's algorithms ensure that I get almost no traffic.

Kennedy was not alive and microwaves with dial, cord, and receiver had been invented yet!

THE FRAUD ADMINISTRATION IS MANUFACTURING LAUNDERED MONEY AT A RATE HIGHER THAN ANY CRIME FAMILY IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD!
Americans need to trust the institutions that their tax dollars are funding. That trust is broken when fraud is allowed to run rampant. The Trump Administration is demolishing fraud at every turn.

Yes, I spoke out about the voting machine I cast my vote on the first day of early voting in Tennessee. Yes, the button kept flipping up to the wrong candidate three times. Yes, I called on a very nice poll worker who stood there until it worked on the third try.

Yesterday, after his rally in Iowa, President Trump was heading to the airport when he saw an old woman walking home — in the dark and all alone. “Stop the car, Daquan!” He told his driver. He got out and walked her 2 miles home. No cameras. Just kindness. That’s Trump.

The anecdote is fictional. Trump's Oct. 22 rally was at Sioux Gateway Airport in Sioux City; his schedule shows direct arrival and departure from the site with no such walk. x.com/WHPressPool/st… ktiv.com/2026/10/21/how… desmoinesregister.com/story/news/pol… The photo is AI-generated and unrelated to any real event.

I am pleased to have secured additional tariff exemptions products crucial to Maine’s agricultural industries, including blueberry, potato, apple, and seaweed producers. Many of our farmers and growers rely on specialized equipment, packaging materials, and other products from Canada that are either unavailable from American suppliers or cannot be replaced without incurring significant expense. In my repeated conversations with Ambassador Greer, Secretary Lutnick, and other senior Administration officials, I have asked for tariff relief for these important products and I will continue working directly with Administration officials to seek additional relief and encourage a broader trade agreement with Canada, our neighbor, ally, and largest trading partner.
