#amquerying reasons you got rejected after querying an agent who said they wanted everything your book is:
1) you targeted via mswl, and they didn't update after getting something a month earlier that fit too. they can't sell both books, so they had to say no to yours.
5) the editor they'd sold five such books to moves on, and their replacement is focused on something else.
you can't control any of these things, so focus on what you can control: improving your writing, improving your market understanding and querying more.

#amquerying i launched my agent database (iampunha.medium.com/introduc…) a little more than a year ago. it's the largest agent information database out there. thousands of agents' sub info for just $1/month.

i do not use, have never used and can imagine no scenario in which i would use generative artificial intelligence "tools."
i use my brain.
not only would i have no problem with such theft "tools" going away, i think their removal would improve the world.
