Whilst walking on Hallam Moors today, by the notorious Oaken Clough, I came across a trap that had caught a rock. How bizarre! @MoorlandMonitor

Barbaric scum.
🚩More illegal traps in @peakdistrict Horrified walkers found a series of highly illegal uncovered Fenn traps on a grouse moor- with a live victim who could not be saved. Yet more blatant wildlife crime in our national park. Please RT. @WarOnWildlife @ChrisGPackham @FoxHITeam
Traffic light turns green, and there's a baby woodpigeon before me in the road. I don't move of course, yet everyone behind me is going mental on their horns. A van driver even threatens to beat me up! What is so important you can't wait a few seconds?
They couldn't have chosen a safer place. ❤️
People actually died because Boris put his grouse shooting mates above our safety.. Never forget this! facebook.com/watch/?v=457568…
I wish I could tell this poor creature there's justification for treating it this way. But I can't. Because nothing justifies this cruelty. Absolutely sick. Just sick.

Their subhuman activities come as no surprise.
Chopping up Mountain Hares as snare bait in a National Park. Only the Moscar Gamekeepers of could be this brazen - or desperate? They are signing the death warrant on their own industry. Please share widely. HIT.

The Priddock remains will have been moved elsewhere, I doubt they'll have properly disposed of their valuable "bait" . Heatherdene needs checking. SK20300 85100 (downhill from white container by broken wall). Bamford Moor SK21945 84276. (right at top of stream by fence)

Gamekeepers are a funny breed. Indiscriminately kill any wildlife that dare enter the Moor, yet go out of their way to feed their Quarry. Seems the Cutthroat Bridge snare site has now become a feed station. Apologies to the pheasant I disturbed. :D

Just checked the recently reported snare site above Priddock Woods. Seems the gamekeepers have removed most of the evidence. Still a big pile of stinking bones, but no snares. Gotta keep the pressure on. Please help monitor if you can. These sites WILL be used again.

Out monitoring. Should be self isolating. Ah well the fresh air will do me. Good. :)

Commuting = a pain, but what I witnessed yesterday on the daily drive really warmed my heart. All 4 lanes of the dual carriageway stopped to allow a fox to cross. Seeing wildlife cruelty daily leads you to classing humanity as.. Well, a bit shit, but really it's a minority.

Had a mooch around Wyming Brook earlier. Didn't manage to cover all the ground but didn't find any active snares thankfully. A few days off this week so can head up for a better look later in the week. :)
