2022 Objectives:
- Learning to not regret missed trades. It is unnecessarily distracting and pushes you to fomo. Learn from it, and prepare for the next opportunity.
- If my funds were was all cash, would I allocate differently? If yes, start adjusting. Don't hold losers.

The Doge Pound Shelter is running out of space already!! 😬
With our shelter being in Tanzania about 90% of the dogs we rescue stay with us forever as there isn't a strong rehoming process at the moment
Here are some puppies we rescued this week 🐶

1/ On 72,000 hours
Is that a lot?
Is that a little?
Is that a high % of your life?
What can you do with 72,000 hours?
Will any of this matter in a world of AI?
Is the very nature of life going to change?
Recession timeline from @fundrise, based on analysis of previous recessions.
I've seen some respected crypto accounts forecasting a late 2024 to late 2025 peak of the next cycle.
Can't imagine we'll see a bottom for stocks at the same time we get a crypto peak.

Spoken to several founders of on-chain games over the past few weeks
Some interesting learnings:
1. There’s a strong emphasis on being on-chain to make the most of web3
2. The most popular thesis is that its the composability of onchain games that leads to better and more experiences for players
3. The main other thesis is that onchain games are financial entertainment (PVP poker like, or ponzinomic with game theory and first mover advantages)
4. There are very, very few players today. Mostly its builders or investors playing (testing?) these games
5. Design is considered incredibly
important - when things are financialised, bottable, and immutable (all intentional), deciding the rules that influence players becomes critical
6. Theres a sense of nobility(?) among many, in that decentralisation and letting others monetise isn’t just table talk but core to the team philosophy
7. Rapid iteration and learning is both enabled by nature of on chain games and key to success
Personally, I think onchain games are niche but interesting because they overlap with what the current web3 audience has proven to care about - financial entertainment, being early and taking risk and community contribution

1/ It’s unfortunate I have to make this thread but I am being sued by MachiBigBrother for an article I published in June 2022.
Today Machi filed the defamation lawsuit. The lawsuit is baseless and an attempt to chill free speech. I intend to fight back & defend free speech.

GOP Senator Josh Hawley just said:
"If the people in power can jail their political opponents at will, we don’t have a republic."
Let me explain to you how the DOJ, Grand Jury, Judicial system and Special Counsel did the exact opposite of this fallacy.
1) The Special Counsel:
Special Counsel Jack Smith was appointed by the DOJ because it was clear that Trump would claim that the DOJ is biased against him. Smith has in the past investigated members of both parties, handling some of the most high-profile political corruption cases in recent memory. He was the head of the Justice Department’s public integrity unit, when they went after DEMOCRAT John Edwards. He then went on to be the chief prosecutor for the special court in The Hague where he investigated war crimes in Kosovo.
2) The Grand Jury:
A Grand Jury of one's peers is made up of between 15-21 average American citizens. The citizens hear the evidence and witness testimony and then they decide if an indictment is warranted.
3) Federal Judges:
A Federal judge usually oversees the actions of investigators, as per warrants, subpoenas and Grand Jury evidence. This person is also independent from the Executive branch.
So, For those claiming Biden is the one who "indicted Trump" you have no clue how the separations of power work, nor how our judiciary system works. The fact that a sitting US Senator doesn't understand this, or at least pretends not to, should have his constituents a bit concerned.
Biden didn't indict Trump. A Grand Jury of his peers handed down the indictment after an Independent prosecutor investigated his actions with the help of an independent Judge.
FACTS MATTER!
