The failures of Republicans to deliver on their committments, not merely promises created their own losses. Many voters, myself included expected results for electing them over and over again. Gun rights voters, in particular were turned off by a decade of pandering, beginning first with "Traitor Thom" Tillis, moving on with Tim Moore, and now with @ncspeakerhall pulling constitutional carry bills from votes to "protect" elected Republicans reluctant to vote for them. Meanwhile Libertarian candidates have risen up to fill the void. A number of Republican losses were due not only to surging Democrats, but to alternative choices, ie, Libertarian candidates. In fact, two years "in the wilderness" for the legislative House will be good medicine; perhaps we will get a new crop of candidates who will vote as they promise next time around. Same is true in Congress....what actually did they do with control of all three levers of the Federal government? Many will tell you - NOTHING! If you plan to run for office in 2028 you better run on defending the constitution, including the right to keep and bear arms, limiting the size and scope of government, and stopping reckless government spending. Did anyone notice the three amendments passed amongst the Republican slaughter? There is hope for the future, read the tea leaves and campaign accordingly.
PS: I congratulate the @LPNC on their accomplishments in this regard. Yes, I've encouraged them to run candidates for several cycles now. Yes, I've been asked by unnamed elected in Raleigh "to stop doing so" Heck no. The LPNC have a goal of running 50 for 50 in 2028 (Their 50th year of existence) and I will continue to encourage and support their candidates who run on defending the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Often I’m accused of being a MAGA right wing republican blah blah blah blah because I am a staunch 2A supporter.
The 2nd Amendment has NO POLITICAL AFFILIATION.
With the exception of very few republicans in Colorado, it’s absolutely embarrassing to be called a Colorado Republican.
The GOP still clings to the biggest losers in Colorado R history who have done nothing but make money off the grift of the R next their name.
Let me be very clear, the majority of the Republicans are morally bankrupt and completely disassociated from the people of Colorado.
The people deserve real leaders and neither party has shown to have the slightest interest in being an advocate or voice of the people, but a proponent for themselves and whomever is bankrolling them.
