One more “ Happy #Caturday ” to you before we part! ❤️
ALT Toby and June snuggled up on a rocking chair. They love each other. They love you. See you elsewhere, my friends! ❤️
Finding yourself stuck in an echo chamber ain’t good. Being forced into someone else’s is even worse. I’m tired of it.
Being fed hate, violence, crudity, and cruelty on a constant scroll here has taken a toll. This isn’t fun. This isn’t healthy.
This place is so gross now.
I won’t delete or deactivate this account in case things take a positive turn in the future (also I just hate to lose all we’ve done and said!) but I won’t be active here for the foreseeable future. It was a real nice place for a while. Now it’s…not.
That feeling when the vending machine worked on the first try, you just voted #Harris_Walz2024, and NO ONE has thrown up on you today. 🤴🏻
Just in case you were holding off on making a decision until hearing from the guy that played that weird lawyer on that one awesome show a few years ago (oh boy), I’m definitely voting for #Harris_Walz2024. So there you go, feel free to join me! ❤️
ALT The only choice: Harris/Walz 2024. Let’s WIN this. Because going back to the cheeto means going back to hell. And I’d rather not be in hell, all things considered. And I know my traditionally marginalized brothers and sisters and siblings beyond the binary would almost certainly agree. Hell=bad. Instead let’s keep working on a better and better (and ever better) tomorrow. Because we can, so we should. ❤️
Ooo I’ve read some real good ones lately! Recent favs include:
-Claire DeWitt series by Sara Gran (existential detective/mystery)
-Assassins series by Kōtarō Isaka (quirky exciting series about professional killers for hire)
-Reincarnation Blues by Michael Poore (brilliant)
Hi there @peterdiseth. I've read a couple books you've recommended on here, really enjoyed them. Any more recs? And I wonder if you've read any @Ruthwarewriter books? I enjoy her writing a lot.
-Wayfarers series by Beck Chambers (cozy but thrilling and emotionally profound sci-fi, starting with Long Way to a Small Angry Planet)
-Dungeon Crawler Carl series by Matt Dinniman (like a role playing video game in real life, super funny and exciting)
Just in the nick of time, Toby is here to wish you a very happy #Caturday (or at least the last hour or so of it) 🧙

This #Caturday I celebrate June, Toby’s camera-shy “sister”. She had a medical scare earlier this week and had to spend the night in the animal hospital (on Toby’s birthday no less!), but she’s back home now and feeling much better. Happy you day, June!
