An 'interesting' 24 hours talking to drivers about cyclists wearing helmets, summed up wonderfully by this @davewalker sketch.
If you're driving two-tonne of metal, it's your duty not to kill kids cycling to school, not their duty to avoid being killed by you. Simple as that.

A lot of disabled people can’t just give cycling a go & start doing simple trips to the shop to get milk or to the park. It’s not easy for them to experience just how brilliant cycling can be. So @harrielspencer is doing something about it. Help if you can crowdfunder.co.uk/walk-ride-…

Running up Everest... at the weekend... for a seal charity?
Classic Stuart Walker - the man behind @runnersVrubbish and generally trying to save the world.
If you like seals, running, clean countryside or nice people - follow him and consider sponsoring him on his daft quest!
This weekend I'm going to run up a hill 295 times and climb the height of Everest! 🗻
Why? To help the Cornish @Seal_Sanctuary! With no visitors, times are very tough. They need your help. Any donation would be awesome! 🙂

Look out for cyclists and think before you overtake. Make sure it's safe, and you leave enough space.
Cyclists can feel very vulnerable when vehicles overtake and we want everyone to be able to use the roads safely.

My job?
At times, it's stressful & almost always busy. You deal with great people sometimes in horrific & unfair situations.
However, for 30 mins this afternoon it was complete & utter satisfaction that we have made a difference to someone's day.

In 2015, @rotterdam installed the first rain sensors at a downtown intersection.
Now, when it starts to shower, the traffic lights prioritize cyclists so they don’t wait as long. Drivers must wait a bit longer, because they are inside and can remain dry.

Investment for wind is great. But one source of energy cannot power the entire country. We need a mix to cope with peaks and troughs in demand, weather conditions, and give us resiliance. We're an island with a fantastic resource; let's have some tidal too!
