Waltham Forest Trades Council joined the thousands of anti-fascist protesters in London today. Good to see lots of union banners but we need to build bigger as it's clear the right ain't going away any time soon.

As a good Althusserian, I don’t hold with conspiracy theories. But when the two successful defendants in the Autonomy trial both suffer ‘accidents’ on the same day, it seems like the kind of ‘coincidence’ Michael Corleone might have orchestrated in his heyday.

ISS only paid half of its staff at Homerton Hospital a bonus for weighing through covid.
These are NHS workers and they deserve the money for working through covid, just like all other NHS workers!

Tommy Robinson has called a demonstration in London next Sat (27 July). Robinson has a long history of mobilising far-right racist and fascist thugs. The recent series of far-right protests have been aimed at the Muslim population and the Palestine mobilisations.
The far-right has been making common cause with pro-Israel organisations and trying to claim that the mass peaceful Palestine marches are 'hate marches'.
@STWUK is mobilising for Stand up to Racism’s counter demonstration, assembling at Russell Square tube at midday.
We urge everyone involved in the anti-war and pro-Palestine movement to be there with us to defend the movement. Bring your #Palestine flags and keffiyehs.
