This injury may cost Anthony Edwards $175M+ If Ant misses the 65-game minimum because of this knee surgery, he can’t make All-NBA and loses the ~$300M supermax next summer. Without it he’s only looking at something closer to a 2-year, $122M extension. That’s over $175M+ difference in future money. Current deal through 2029 is fine either way, but this injury is putting a massive payday at real risk.
