Big reflection post today. It has officially been one year since my first payout with a futures prop firm (3/20/24). As many of you know, I developed my own strategy over 2 years ago, then translated it directly to a Tradingview Script. Here are my results/stats for those last 12 months.
Total payouts: $117,500
Total payouts requested: 100
Total payouts approved: 85
Rough spend (cost of accounts, activation, etc.): $9,000
Overall I am incredibly pleased and proud of myself. I have had steady growth through the months by identifying where my weaknesses were and working endlessly to mitigate them.
A lot of these issues were psychological - fomo, impatience, revenge trading, ego, etc. i hope this post inspires some of you who are working hard to get to where you want to be in this long and difficult journey we call trading🙏🏽
