Yesterday morning the tube was playing up, and I emerged at ground level rubbing my eyes straight onto a PEDESTRIANISED OXFORD STREET 🥳
Oh happy day, I’ve been meaning to visit!
Here are some quick thoughts I had as I was walking to work: 1/7

Just imagine how much of a total cunt you have to be to be of those cops.
Imagine the lies they have to tell their families about what they do at work
Utter scum enforcers of low grade fascism.

Britain now has a speech kill switch, and as of Monday it’s armed. Large platforms must keep a crisis censorship plan they don’t have to publish, ready to fire the moment speech regulator Ofcom’s definition of a crisis is merely “likely.” That definition covers local events, regional events, and even events overseas.
The content in scope includes “foreign interference,” which can apply to information that is entirely true if it’s presented the wrong way. Ofcom admits political speech will get caught and calls the extra false positives “proportionate.” Police get a dedicated line to the platforms, and they don’t need a court order to use it. The reviews afterwards happen in private too...

I’m sorry that your adult social services have broken down, but I hope you understand this is because the Green Party has said a racist ideology is racist.

Julia struggling again with the concept that when money is paid by one person to another, it then belongs to the payee.
I wonder if, before she pays for her morning cup of coffee, she demands to know what they're going to spend it on, just to make sure it's nothing woke?
The end of #CelebrityTraitors was the most BBC thing EVER.
Because of COURSE the two winners are donating their winnings - our licence fee money - to a charity for refugees and a charity for "queer" refugees.

Labour stand in total disgrace today. Ed Miliband’s fake apology can go in the bins that probably will now go uncollected. Collapsing local partnerships to play politics and making support for Israel ‘a red line’, a red line we didn’t impose on our councillors for Labour literally arming a genocide.

From the footage, it appears the satellites were decommissioned in accordance with international law.

PROTESTERS NOW RELEASED ON BAIL
The @ukhomeoffice stated yesterday that “The proscription of Palestine Action does not affect lawful protest in support of the Palestinian cause.”
But hundreds were given bail conditions today not to attend any protests in support of Palestine.

I shall be travelling to London for the UK Supreme Court hearing on Palestine Action on 4 and 5 November, to support my friend and colleague Huda Ammori.
Is this a criminal offence, @metpoliceuk ?
Will people be arrested for going to the Supreme Court?

BREAKING: The Met Police has extended the definition of "terrorism" to include anyone who is nice to pensioners who express opinions that Andy Burnham doesn't like 👀
Anyone planning to attend a demonstration in support of Palestine Action in the vicinity of the US Embassy on Saturday, 31 October will face arrest as part of a robust policing operation.
Expressing support for the group is an offence under the Terrorism Act following its proscription in June 2025, a decision upheld by the Court of Appeal in June 2026.

Extraordinary overreach. What are they thinking? They're going to arrest the people driving pensioners and priests to a protest where they intend to hold up a sign? People who give them water? People acting as legal observers?
NEW: the Met issues update threatening “enforcement action” against anyone who provides “logistical support” (water?? snacks?? a foil blanket?) to peaceful protesters at the @defendourjuries demo outside the US embassy tomorrow news.met.police.uk/news/met-…

What about someone who sells someone a bottle of water which that person then gives to someone supporting Palestine Action? Is supporting a supporter of a supporter going to be arrestable? How far will the police go in their quest to make themselves objects of public ridicule?
